I have some high ceilings to paint and the last time I painted, I had ladders walk boards and even scaffolding involved. I’ve never had an extension as sturdy as this one. Typically, when I try to apply pressure on extensions, like when using a paint roller, the extension will bend or bow, not allowing me to apply enough pressure to get a good coat of paint on the wall. This extension is sturdy when fully extended, doesn’t bend very easily. The handle has a nice soft feel to it, it’s covered in a type of foam rubber, the girth is a little large but it’s certainly comfortable. Each section has a flip lock / unlock switch that allows you to lock each section at the length you need. It’s made of a light aluminum and is grooved where the locks apply pressure at each section. Very easy to use and most functional and it slides into itself to be less than four feet tall, doesn’t take much room to store it or in the truck. It has many uses, painting is just the main thing I got for. I will look into attachments, the cob web brush looks useful. In short, this may be the best extension pole I’ve ever seen. It is well machined aluminum and designed in such a way that it’s pretty much the Cadillac of extension poles, five stars from me, well worth the money.

This is a very sturdy telescoping pole. I absolutely love the lengths that I can get with this. It has a standard screw attachment so all of my paint rollers can fit on this, along with light hanging attachments and more. The pole is sturdy enough that I can paint a large area and even hit the ceiling without any problem. The ceiling in my garage is about 15 ft high and I was able to use this to paint without a ladder. It was such an effective solution and I put some pressure on it as I was pushing the paint onto the wall. It did not bend and collapse. The extensions locked in place and it's as lightweight as it could be for something that extends that long and is that sturdy.

I haven’t used it yet but have played with it and attached the paint brush and I already know this is quality and heavy duty and will do the trick

As a short person(5'2ft) I really appreciate the extender for the ceiling fans and for my husband who is about a foot taller than me it also works great for him not having to bend down to deal with baseboards.I think the real sell on this multi tool is the baseboard attachment as cleaning baseboards now takes me a 1/4 of the time it used to take and therefore gets done more and there is less build up of dust and grime over time because of it.Price point of about $26 is reasonable to me. The quality is decent enough and it does hold multiple function and really acts as an accessible duster for both my husband and I.

Although I haven’t had the chance to use the pole for any major projects yet, I did test it out with a gutter cleaning head, and it worked really well for me. After handling it for a bit, I can already tell that this extension pole is built with excellent quality. It feels solid and sturdy, with a robust construction that gives me confidence it will perform well for any tasks I need it for in the future.The pole extends smoothly, and the locking mechanism works efficiently without any resistance or issues. The foam grips provide a comfortable hold, and I can tell that even with extended use, they will make it easy to control. I’m particularly impressed by how well it feels in my hands—it’s lightweight enough to manage comfortably, yet strong enough to handle some real work.I’m looking forward to using this pole for tasks where I previously had to rely on ladders. This is my second extension pole with the flip-lock clamping mechanism - and I think these are much, much, better than the screw-in type extension poles! For me, they stay locked 100% of the time - and they feel sturdier. I have accumulated several attachments, which is why I wanted this one - so I don't have to switch out the toppers as often!I took this one out with a saw attachment to test its strength - did great! Then i attached a gutter cleaner to it, to see how much "touch" I had, and it worked great as well! Even at 12-feet, I felt like I always had good control, and it never felt top-heavy to me.The grips are comfortable, all the locks engaged smoothly, and there are just so many things I can do with this - without the need for a ladder!! Love this!

This year we got loads of snow and it started accumulating on our garage roof (hip roof). Our bedroom windows got covered with it halfway which were obstructing our outside view and incoming light. Normally we avoid clearing garage roof snow because reaching to the top of garage roof with ladder is difficult and dangerous especially when outside temperature is freezing -30ºC and it also makes roof slippery. But LAANPOLE Telescoping Extension Pole made this difficult/awkward job doable with relative ease. Screwed on a brush head, extended the pole on the ground, hoist it & just slide off the top layers of snow. I was able to clear off top layers of snow using extension pole quickly. The job is done in no time! I wish I should have bought this pole earlier.Pros;- Very well made- High quality- Strong and smooth to operate- Lightweight (need to be controlled properly when fully extended)- Quick-release thumb lever- Innovative flip-lock mechanism- Simpler and fast telescoping operation - I did not observe any friction- Long enough for the purpose- It will get any two-story height- Attachments fit perfectly (accessories not included, only pole)- Handle is padded and is easy to grip- Compact size- Easy to store- No need of ladders to reach high areas- Love the accessories received with it, very useful- Value for moneyCons;- Nothing identified yet, I wish it would have come with some accessoriesGreat Product! This extension pole from LAANPOLE is a decent quality, and is relatively lightweight. It should be useful for quite a few high-reach projects around the house.Likes:- Amazingly long reach!- Lightweight and easy to adjust. The poles glide easily and the flip locks are easy to engage and disengage.- Compact and easy to store.- Most components seem to be of good quality.- Foam grips are comfortable and make it easy to hold and handle.- The plastic in the flip locks feels strong and durable but they are low profile so they shouldn't easily get caught on anything.- The extensions are grooved so they slide straight up an down without twisting.Dislikes:- The pins that hold the flip locks are hollow. While this will probably stand up just fine, I would be more comfortable with a solid pin. I work on tripod leg locks and have to knock the pin out to service them. This hollow pin will be tricky if service is ever required.- It has a bit of flex to it at the longest lengths. This is to be expected, but I'm not sure I could use this to paint at the longest settings.- I would prefer to have a 3rd grip on the handle for when a wide grip variation is not useful.Overall, this pole is a bit heavier and bulkier than a fiberglass pole I have, but it also has a much longer reach, so that's to be expected. In general, I feel that this extension pole gives me a much wider variation in usable lengths, and is made to a better quality than most extension poles I've used in the past. If you need good, reliable reach with easy adjustability, I would certainly recommend this pole from LAANPOLE.

We have a handyman business and get calls often for changing recessed lightbulbs in entry areas that can be upwards of 20+ft. Usually, we cover the client's floor for protection, bring in our 10ft step ladder, which is a bit of a pain, space is needed for the footprint, and can be a little harry when up that high. Then use a light bulb changing pole to make up the difference. One of those you twist to lock.This extension pole has made a world of difference. It helped speed up the process to mere minutes. No more worrying about the client's floor. No more ladder. It has a standard threaded attachment riveted to the end of the pole. We attach the necessary light bulb changing attachment and boom, we are done.It's made of aluminum, making it lightweight, given its size. It's much more solidly built than the poles you can typically buy at your local box store. It's very stable, but it does have some flex at the longest lengths.It extends very easily and locks/unlocks even easier. It also has foam grips, making it comfortable to use.The only thing I'd say is I wouldn't just toss it around for fear of breaking the latches off. The are well made, but they are still made from plasticOtherwise, it's fantastic and it has many uses.Hope that helps.

LAANPOLE 5-20FT Aluminum Telescoping Pole has a black aluminum pole base section, and four additional telescoping extension pole sections, giving it an infinitely adjustable length from five to twenty feet with just a quick flick of the adjustable cam locking levers. The pole is a good combination of lightweight yet sturdy construction, ideally suited for my intended use for outdoor cleaning and other chores. The pole comes with a standard ¾” Acme thread which will accept a wide variety of useful tools- just search “¾ threaded pole attachments” here on Amazon to see the many options. I already have a cobweb head, a bendable duster, a fruit picker head, and even a spray can attachment which is great for hard-to-reach hornet nests. If you do not have an assortment of tool attachments already, the combination pole with attachment is currently a better value, especially with the 15% coupon on the combination.The adjustable length pole allows me to reach high areas without dragging out a heavy ladder. Using this extension pole is a much safer and easier alternative to climbing, especially for a person who is getting a little older. Even if age is not a factor, it is just faster and easier to be able to work from ground level, and you don’t have to move furniture to make room for a ladder. This pole includes two foam-padded areas which make it easy to grip the extended pole. This pole would be a good addition to any homeowner’s tool arsenal. If you have been using one of those scrawny twist-lock poles, you owe it to yourself to get a large diameter lever-lock telescoping pole like this one.
