Great ladder. Very compact. Works smooth. A little heavy but it is steady. Good for use on a camper.

Overall I'm pleased with this ladder. I bought the 3.8m ladder knowing for the main purpose I bought it for that I didn't need that much height, thinking it would have a more solid base if not fully extended.As a stainless ladder rather than aluminum it is heavy but I feel its more durable.The step lockouts keep you from releasing steps from the middle while bringing it back down so you will need to lean the top of the ladder within reach so you can compress the ladder from the top down.Kind of annoying but easier on the ladder and potentially your fingers w/o the whole weight of the upper steps crashing down since it's not pneumatically controlled!I wouldn't count on it but each step does stop short of smashing your fingers (if you have them between the steps, don't do this) until you release the next.So other than weight (which is published so you know what you're getting into) I gave this ladder 4 stars rather than 5 because there is quite a bit of play in the joints which gives it a sloppy feel when extended, the more extended, the more sloppy it is.Now get to steppin'

Easy to extend & collapse.Some of the catches are a bit stiff to push in,but should get easier with a bit more usew.Stows easily in my small garden shed.So far I really like this product from Amazon.
