Easy to use. Great table stand. The extension height is more than enough.

I needed something to hold a webcam at a decent spot for one of my older 3D printers. This tripod does the trick perfectly. It is very well constructed with metal and very little plastic parts. Get yourself one if you need it for anything special that requires a webcam tripod.

Not just for webcams, if you have a light enough microphone, or especially one of the smaller shotgun/transducer tube microphones, having this set up just out of camera, with your script or lines sitting on the stand that's built into the base makes this thing a GREAT choice for voice actors. We were REALLY careful, and highly suggest the same (along with a lot of fiddling to make sure its centered), but yes, it held our Senny MKH416, and just at a perfect distance for me to look down reading my lines without it interfering with the microphone's pickup line.

Nice range of heights that will accommodate my lights, cameras, phones, devices, microphones, and what-have-you. The base stands solid, even when fully extended, yet only weighs in at about 3/4lb.. I will say the non-metal parts, which are the phone holder and adjustable adapter, are functional but eh, lack quality. The stand leans forward after assembly which I hadn’t anticipated, and initially thought it was a defect with the connecting threads - which the base is a plastic insert, and the rod has metal threads… but must be the design. As for the grooves on the base of the stand, they don’t hold anything upright on their own, it’s just a groove, and the device leans on the rod for support.I’m using this tripod stand in a super sweet pairing with a Camolo Geek magnetic phone holder I recently reviewed (worth a look, awesome bit of tech) and my iPad. This is making a very capable and highly versatile device holder (see pics), and am really appreciating the pairing of the two.

This telescopic tripod stand is an excellent addition to my desk setup. I have been searching for a stand like this to mount the webcam I use in Zoom/Teams calls. It is distasteful when people in meetings appear to be looking at a completely different direction, when in reality they are looking at the screen, but the camera is capturing your image for a side. This mount is perfect to set it up right in front of the screen and circunvent that problem. The 1/4'' thread is a universal fit, making it easy to mount devices securely. Most of the webcams have this connector. It also includes a phone holder which adds extra versatility for podcasts. The adjustable height and sturdy base ensure stability, even during extended use. It’s compact, easy to set up, and perfect for streaming, video calls, or photography. Great tool!

Plastic base, height adjustment knob, & 1/4" mounting screw all make for just an ok build quality item. Does the job but overall just 3/5 stars for me and probably wouldn't buy again. Prices can changes obviously, so make your decision based on the value at the time of your purchase.
