I got these because I loved the color and the design. I gave the blue one to my son, and kept the pink one for myself. We are both fruitarians, and have fruit (and the flies that come with them) in both our homes. His fly swatter is still fine, but my pink hand broke off at the wand. I'll admit, I did extend and retract it a lot, trying to get the perfect length to hit those little pests. That's where it broke, at the extendable rod. My son and I both said it would be better if it were just one length with a solid rod since that seems to be the weak spot (like a car antennae). They should really not make it that way. However, I guess that's one of the advantages if you buy this type, so you take your chances if you fiddle around with the length a lot. Am I unhappy I got them? No, because his is still going strong, and the price point was low enough that I can get more. I love whimsical designs, so that's why these seemed fun and practical. Yet with one broken and one still in the field, I'd have to give these a grade of "B". Still think they're adorable though, even though mine didn't last through the summer.

The design is great… as long as you keep it at the short range. When you extend it… different story completely… not fabulous….

There's not a spot on the handle that allows for hanging. I never thought I needed to consider that detail since every fly swatter I've ever owned was designed to hang on a hook or nail.

Acheté en espérant pouvoir tuer les punaises volantes de toutes sortes dont j'ai une réelle phobie mais habitant dans une commune infestée de ces bestioles, il m'a fallu trouver une solution pour affronter ma peur mais surtout me débarrasser de ces bestioles répugnantes et si nombreuses. Et grâce à ces tapettes avec un long manche et robuste, elles ne leurs font aucun cadeau. Au top! Je recommande ++++
