Decently constructed and a nice design, but unfortunately it is NOT compatible with Arca Swiss dovetail plate. The base of this item is approximately 1 15/16", while an Arca is 1 1/2", so it is not compatible with Neewer gimbal mount. Quite disappointed and will have to return.

THe long bottom plate is terrific, but the flexible part is incapable of tightening properly. So it's a waste

work just the way i was hopping for, tried it out to take shoots of the moon reduced shake at full zoom, no more jiggle at lens to camera mount.would highly recommend specially for long zoom
