I've been wanting one of these for my Sony 70-200mm to easily throw it on a tripod. I've been using a Peak Design mount and it's been working well, but this removes the need to use up one of those expensive mounts!A couple of things I'd want to change about the design of this item.1. The mount uses a screw to put it on the lens. The OEM uses a screwed clamp and it is tool less to remove when you don't need it. This makes it a bit of a hassle to remove when you dont need it.2. I'm a Peak Design strap users and I put an anchor on the foot via the PD mount. There's no spot on this foot to place an anchor, I know this is a unique situation, but it's something to think about if you do the same.3. There are two small screws on the ends of the foot, presumably, it's so that when it's on a tripod, it'll act as a stopper. When you have them on, the camera tilts to either side. You can remove them though if you feel you don't need them and risk having it sliding off your tripod.Build quality is good and I plan on keeping this on my lens. I may add a D-Ring that'll go into the 1/4" screw hole.
