This is not a "normal" phone line splitter. It is very specific to headsets (or handsets). It is exactly what I needed and works great.

I was told there was no such thing as this item, so imagine my surprise when I did some research and found it online! This solved a longstanding problem with adding additional microphones to the conference phone. No more pulling wires around the room. Now we have sufficient mics to cover the area and can leave them in place! I am thrilled I was able to locate this piece of equipment!

Great tool for training in our contact centre. If I would've been paying more attention I would've purchased one with a mute button so the trainer doesn't not have to be concerned that they will be heard by the caller. But other then that, the units are great.

These have a longer cable than you normally get on the splitters. They work well and come in a resealable plastic puch for safe keeping. I bought 4 of them and put them all into one platic pouch. Not much to say but they seem pretty good quality with no crackling.

We've bought 2 of these now for our Mitel 5330 IP phones and they work great! We use them for training purposes and the sound quality on the generic headsets we use do go from good (with one headset connected) to decent (with 2 headsets connected), but that could be the fault of the cheap headsets. By decent sound, I mean it sounds like we are using a speakerphone to the caller on the other end. Still very acceptable and not a real complaint in any way, and everyone who has used this for training purposes has had nothing but praise for the splitter and the headsets.

I am over the moon with this adaptor. At work we are constantly having conference calls at our desks. Having to hold the phone in one hand and listen to the conference made it very hard to continue working whilst listening. I am also using a headset buddy which can plug into one of the ports leaving my phone hands free and making it possible for me to carry on working with just a normal earphone plugged in.

I needed to connect 2 wireless headsets to my phone at the call center where I work as I work long shifts and deplete the battery in one. This item allowed me to do so quickly and easily with no added noise or signal degradation.

It's a splitter. What more do I need to say? Well, let me answer that:It's a 2-into-1, so it's a live connection for both plugs. Meaning that you can use for training all you want, but both parties can be heard. If I am coaching my rep on the floor, the customer can hear everything I'm saying.I didn't get the WF pen that the page says is included. Bummer. /sarcasmI can't send it back. When I click to return, I get "For safety reasons, items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to Amazon.com. Customers should dispose of hazardous materials according to Local, State and Federal regulations. Customers should contact their local government or local waste company for directions on how to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste."I'm not sure what, exactly, is hazardous about this product. Probably the amount of gas burned by the shipping trucks to return a $6 part. Not a bad deal, though- sell something that can't be returned. I'd have to be hopeful that if it were defective the company would just send another without expecting a return. My question is: "If I can't send it back because it's hazardous, who is able to justify sending it out?"

Purchased for webinar learning for two in the home beginning a work at home project on one computer with two monitors, and two Plantronics headsets into one Plantronics headset base with this adapter. No static, Clear voices outgoing and incoming. That it has no mute switch is no problem, we have mute on the headset base. I ordered three different adapters, just in case...this $5.99, another $9.99, the other about $15.99. This cheaper one is the best of the lot as far as clearness. The other two have mute buttons, but lots of echo and noise inside. If you can work around the lack of mute switch...this is a wonderful item. Just use the mute on your phone or headset or enter *6 and you're good to go. Three weeks into our webinar sessions, and no one is the wiser that there are two of us online and on the phone. And by the way, I had reached out to Plantronics inquiring as to how I could use two Plantronics S11 headsets on a telephone and their response was that it could not be done. Wrong. I am doing it...and I just knew that I could. The answer is to just use one of the bases connected into the phone, and this adapter into the base, and the two headsets into this adapter.
