In recently was in the market for a sampler and Teenage Engineering captivated me with the KO II, only it was sold out. I recently got the OP-Z as well and was hoping the partner the two and quickly looked at the original KO micro-sampler and I was not disappointed. Its limitations are obvious and well stated but what it does, it does it well and without complication. The added cables in the bundle allowed me to instantly connect to my OP-Z and sample directly into the KO. The CA-X fits perfectly and I love that the buttons are similar to my synth, would highly recommend for anyone getting into sampling.

I have to say I was a little disappointed when I first received this bundle:1) the PO33 is much smaller than I expected.2) the case is not a direct fit. You have to snap off the tab and take the kickstand off to make it fit properly.I got over this immediately. The case is a perfect fit and a must as the device is essentially a bare PCB board and has a lot more give and bend when it is out of the case. Snapping the tab off is a bit scary if you’ve never done this before. Make sure you brace the PO33 firmly in your hand as you snap the tab off. The silicon case will fit perfectly, but remember to take the kickstand off.The PO33 is pretty feature rich for being so minimalist in design. I’m going to spend this weekend studying, but it is intuitive enough to begin creating basic beats on. This is. so much more fun and inspiring than opening an app on my iPhone or iPad. It also sounds fantastic when you plug it into some headphones or monitors. Highly recommend getting the PO33 as your first Pocket Operator purchase.

Very fun, lots of cool sounds and great for putting together something on the go, but the headphone jack broke with a week and buttons weren't far behind.
