We purchase this expandable fence to protect my wife's flower garden from deer. It has worked very well and is a very nice addition. The 30% discount helped. We are going to buy another one!

This gate is much flimsier than I expected. It's not much better than a basic indoor pet gate I could have gotten for half the price. It says it can handle outdoor weather but I really don't see how - it's very lightweight and seems more suited for indoors. We'll see how long it lasts, but I definitely would not pay $100 again for one of these.

I purchased this product about a year and 1/2 ago to close off a covered area between my patio and side yard. The area measures 5 feet in length. Although the expandable fence seemed to work ok for the first few months, it would frequently fall over in any storm with moderate winds. In the past month the gate broke falling over in a storm and now will not stand up. Would not recommend this product for outside use. It is not very stable or sturdy.

very sturdy and I like the ability to change it's size and push out of way if not needed. I wouldn't use it for children because it is easy to pinch fingers if not aware of how it works. i was able to make a few adjustments to the bottom to fit my deck opening and lower it a little because I was concerned that my small dogs might try to slip under it. It is working very well for our needs.

I took a chance and probably shouldn't have. I looked at the pictures and was pretty sure my 25lb Frenchie would be able to walk right under it when fully extended but in the Q&A section, people had answered that the measurement was 4.5- 5 inches from the bottom of gate to floor. Well.... that's from the lowest point. So as expected... a small/medium dog can fit right under it.Another FYI -I had it set up on a screened-in patio and the wind blew it over in the middle of the night. I wasn't shocked by any means. It's very lightweight since it's aluminum which is a great selling point. But it would easily topple if a dog jumped on it or a kid leaned on it/fell over onto it.It's a great, quality gate and probably works wonderfully for many people. Just not gonna work for me.

UPS had lost the original delivery and refused to do a search on it despite several requests. The company was great and immediately sent a new one.The gate works well, is sturdy, and has a smooth aluminum brown finish. We placed it near an open part of our front gates with bike locks. Definitely recommend.
