I bought this as a gift for my son. He says that it works well for him to stay cool while riding his motorcycle in the summer heat of Texas.

Pine Gulch Fire is currently more than 125,000 acres. Approximately 195sq miles.Ordered this vest weeks ago for yard work. Arrived today. And is more needed that it was when I ordered it.After absorbing a good quantity of water for evaporative cooling it also has water flasks that I’ll use to keep cool. An insulated bag to transport the vest and flasks is a great addition. Picked up a size larger than I normally use.ill update on that decision later. Better to go a bit larger than too small. Not sure if the flasks can handle being frozen. But another in the fridge should do it.Combined with my Mission evaporative hat and neck gaiter with a sun hoodie I think I’ll be one of the only people in the Grand Valley who has to work out of doors in the yard and be comfortable. Ho early I think I’ll need to stand under a garden hose every few hours and stay comfortable. Now I just need a gas mask for the falling ash.

Fit was a little weird because of some of the cause like material used but I tailored it to fit me and it's now great. It's a significant help on warm days but not quite enough on the really hot one. It lasts much longer that similar items that use ice.

Product itself is good and I liked it. However the size runs small. Bought XLarge for my wife thinking it was a man's XLarge and would be plenty big. It was too snug, so I had to return it and get an XXLarge. That did not seem much larger and was still too snug. I tried it on and the XXLarge and it was tight on me (44 inch chest.) Had to return it. Got my money back for the product, but ended up paying $30 to return both items and have nothing to show for it.

Got it for my young son with a medical condition. He loves it. Has 4 iced pack pockets, so it is heavy with all them in. Go for a sz larger to wear over T-shirt or Sweatshirt.
