I’ve bought several of these in 2 different purchases. The 1st time they worked perfectly but the last ones have not worked. The main alarm doesn’t stop buzzing when the Bypass is pushed. I’ve tested it with swapping the units, swapping the Bypass button with no luck. I’m going to buy one more I guess, maybe they had some bad units.

Needed to pass for a pool inspection. Did not use the adhesive backing because we didn’t plan on leaving them on the door. We use a putty adhesive to affect them to the doorframe and then we’re able to remove them.

Ordered 2 of these to pass pool inspection. The packages looked in new condition from the outside but after opening, I saw the sticky adhesive on the devices was already used. The plastic film had already been torn off and you could see someone else’s paint residue on it.One of these devices worked but the second one would not stop going off despite having the sensor next to it. It would not stop flashing low battery either even though all the batteries I tried were new.One thing to note. If you have door where the door and side trim are at different levels, the sensor will not be close enough to the main siren device. You’ll have to rain the sensor on the door so it’s at the same height.I’m returning both as I need something reliable and in new condition that will actually stick to my walls/door. The devices were very loud so they got that part right at least.

I purchased four of these and they all work fine. I used command strips to stick the main unit to the wall and painters tape cut into small double-sided strips to stick the sensors and extra bypass switch. I did this so I can remove everything without damaging the wall. My doors are not on the same plane as the interior wall because there is moulding around all of the doors. This makes it a little tricky to place the sensor wired to the unit, but fortunately there is enough "allowable gap" in the sensor's sensitivity that it was not a problem for me. The alarm is very loud and cycles through different sirens. I was concerned about passing a town inspection (strict pool rules in a town near Boston, MA) but these units were fine. I don't intend to use these regularly but if I did my one complaint is that the wire to the extra bypass button / switch is very short, as are the wires for the extra pair of sensors. So much so that I couldn't set it up to be used on the screen doors. If you want something that is going to work on the main door AND a screen door, these may not work in all circumstances. Otherwise they served the purpose I needed.

These alarms work very well. They are easy to install, at least in our case. We have standard metal double hung windows. Yes, you can set the alarm up to allow the window to be opened up for ventilation. If you are not using the second magnet for a screen that you plan to open, just attach the second magnet four inches below the first magnet. Press the bypass button and open the window up until the lower magnet aligns with the wired sensor. You have about ten seconds to get it right. Now the window cannot be moved from its 4” open position without setting off the alarm. To close the window, just press the bypass button and then close the window.

The device works as intended but the wires are much shorter than they should be. I have no intentions of drilling through my house wall which might make the wires long enough for the install. I was barely able to get the override button outside from the inside unit. This passed through a screen door and sliding door frame, or about 7" of wall thickness. Any farther than that, this will not work for you.

This product is great. I wasn't able to install it on the wall, as I had planned, because the adhesive wouldn't hold, but I think it was more because of the textured wall paint than the adhesive itself. I ended up installing it directly on the door and that was very easy and worked fine. Reading the description and reviews I wasn't entirely sure if there were 2 bypass buttons (one for inside and another for outside) but there are 2. The inside bypass button is on the unit itself. The separate, wired bypass button shown in the pictures goes outside. I don't have a sliding door, or a screen door, so am only using 1 set of sensors. The alarm is definitely loud enough to be heard throughout the house and the bypass buttons couldn't be easier, making this alarm a great safety feature instead of the incredible annoyance it would be without the bypass buttons. Highly recommend. Note, my town doesn't have specific standards for the alarm other than that it is constantly armed, sounds for 30 seconds, and can be heard through the house.
