It works exactly as advertised - It's just way too expensive for what it is. Having said that, I have no other choice, so I just purchased two more.

This minimalist lighting system is very elegant, and easy to adjust. However, the material used for the MR16 bulb sockets corrodes over time (10~15 years), leading to bulb flicker and eventual failure. The current company who owns Tech Lighting (Visual Comfort) does not backstop their products. The one person I spoke to there wanted $50 (half the cost of the entire fixture!) for a tiny replacement part. If I had known about the lack of long term durability and customer support, I would have avoided this product.

Perfect for artwork. Uses MR16 GU5.3 base 12V lamps.After a couple of years of use I changed out all the halogen bulbs for color neutral dimmable Soraa brand LED. They work great, look great and much easier of the power bill.

The cable and electrical connection are not included, neither is the bulb. So you're paying $50+ for one single lamp assembly. (Just the metal rod holding the bulb).On top of that, it arrived bent because it was shipped in an envelope. I'll be returning this.

Only one light bracket came. In the customer questions it said it came with five lights and the cables. But it did not.
