The headline says it all! I really don't have the space for a huge bag of grout and I really don't want to have to mix dry grout for my smaller mosaic projects, and that's why I buy in these tubs. You're paying for the convenience and frankly, I think it's worth it! Don't need to protect your eyes and lungs from the dry mix and overall, it's just a true gift for any mosaic artist with limited space. Highly recommend.

Applied sanded grout to the floor following instructions. Mixed, let it sit, mixed again. Applied to floor. It looked beautiful. 24 hours later it has turned into white sand which just drifts across the floor. Total waste of time and money. Sending back the sand for a refund.

I did a complete kitchen floor. Within a couple days about half of the grout crumbled. I had to pick it out manually. I'll redo it, hoping it takes a second time.

It's a sanded powder grout that goes on easy once the mixture is prepared. The amount used is up to the person doing the job and the requirement for the job. If mixed properly with water and used accordingly with a molded rubber grout float it can go a long way filling the tile gaps. Once the grout is spread with the float the rest is just cleaning the tiles using a sponge and water.

Used this grout to repair a tile floor that had been put in with the same color named grout. Colors appear to match. Easy to mix up and use.

I bought this grout to match the backsplach that was done in my kitchen 3 years ago. 1 tile fell off and had to be regrouted and this is what was used and exact color. This was a perfect match looks 100% perfect can't tell their was a repair. Original grout still looks and is perfect.

This was the 3rd product I purchased after the first 2 failed (pre-mixed, ready to use grout from Home Depot & a tile grout patch product that came in a tube from Ace Hardware).3rd try's a charm, as they say!I ripped out caulking that someone did OVER broken, damaged grout in the shower (rental). Was left with a gap between the shower floor and shower wall that was larger than 1/8", smaller than 1/4" - leaving me with the dilemma of whether to use sanded or non-sanded grout.Answer: Sanded grout works best.History of repair:Using pre-mixed first - the finished project looked GREAT! It was easy to use, easy to apply, easy to clean up - seemed to dry perfectly. I applied sealer - waited to use shower a total of 2 weeks - in an effort to be extra sure everything was cured and ready for use.Within 3 shower uses, the grout was soft (could press/indent/cut through easily), flaking off - it was a mess. Removed those areas - re-grouted them. Had the SAME problem again. At this point, we had been without a shower for 3 weeks. So - I removed the softened areas, and patched with the grout repair that comes in a tube (from Ace Hardware). That actually worked really well... but... then more areas started to soften, flake, chip - and I knew I had to take everything out and start over.Spoke with a family member who is in construction and he said never to use pre-mixed grout ..Purchased this product, AccuColor by TEC.I've never used grout that had to be mixed from a powder, because I've been fairly lazy + lucky that the premixed has usually worked when we've used it.1) I shook up the grout container very well before opening - due to the comment by a reviewer who said the color flakes settle at the bottom and to mix well first.2) Put a small amount of water in a styrofoam cup (1/4 c)3) Added grout mix slowly - until I reached the consistency of mayonnaise/peanut butter (somewhere in between).4) Followed the usual instructions for grout projects.5) End result: Hardened grout - looks nice/clean, etc.6) Waited 48 hrs to seal it.**Have NOT used the shower yet - which will be the real test... and so I will update this review in a week or two.**Giving 4 stars because the company does NOT include any instructions on the container or in the packaging. Instructions on how to open the &*%$#'ing container are on the lid - which you absolutely cannot see or barely detect - and that needs a magnifying glass to read. I have no idea what the company's recommendation is for time to wait before getting wet/using. :(.
