Works so much better then expected. Cleaned up my old grout lines and made the bathroom look brand new. Highly recommend. Also it only took about 5min to dry to touch snf about 3 to 4 hours it was perfectly dry (we have the heat on so it did help. They recommended 6 hrs to fully dry)

I used dark gray on a tiled bathroom counter. It was easy to apply, looks great, and after a month it's holding up well. Not sure if I'd trust it on a floor, but works for a counter.

I was doubtful that it wouldn't come off when it got wet, but it didn't! It's easy to apply (like using a paint pen) and goes a long way. If you have a large bathroom, get multiple though. Totally worth it. The color was great as well

It worked perfectly and was easy to use! I saw others said the tip shreds easily, so I made sure not to use too much pressure and it was fine (my project involved a lot of very coarse grout, so if I didn’t have an issue I think most people should be fine). A great way to spruce up our bathroom while we save up for a full remodel.

I got this to cover some white paint I got in our dark charcoal grout when I was painting our ceiling. It covered it very well and you can’t even tell white paint was on the grout. I would use this for touch up, not entire bathroom or backsplash grout recoloring. Highly recommend.

I have purchased these multiple times and will continue to do so when I need to touch up the grout. My only complaint is that the tips seem to get smashed the longer you use them, which makes them less precise in their application. Minor issue, won’t stop me from re-purchasing. I’ve learned to use less pressure when applying them.

Moved into a new renal place and the grout on the bathroom floor tiles looked really grubby. Tried scrubbing and bleaching but still looked terrible. A once over with this pen and they look so much better. Go close and you can still see faults but from normal standing level they look great. I'm very happy. I used the wide pen but then bought the narrow one for little deeper bits that the big one didn't reach.

Buyer beware. I read all the good reviews and thought this would be a good solution to the white grout on my kitchen floor. I scrubbed the grout on my hands and knees to make sure it was very clean. Then I rinsed the whole floor three times. I was very careful because I wanted this to work. After the floor dried I began the application process. I guess I was sloppy and it would get on the floor so I wiped as I went. After a bit I stopped wiping and decided to wipe once it dried because I was wiping away more than I was putting down. So I did about three fourths of the floor and let it dry for about an hour. Once I began rinsing the floor with clear water the dye came up off the floor pretty easily. However, in spots the dye washed off as well. So now I have grey and white splotched grout. My husband said maybe it was some sort of sealer on the floor so he sanded down one area until it was bare grout. We dyed that area, let it dry for an hour and it rinsed right off again. I’ll include pictures of the splotchy mess. I’m not sure what I need to do to fix it but I’m thinking I may need to replace all of the grout at this point. BTW, I did a test spot and that area was fine so not even that helped me.

I just finished my grout coloring projects today. I must say that I am very pleased with the grout pen(dark gray) so far. I purchased three pens for my kitchen backsplash and a shower wall. One wall in my shower has a dark gray grout, which in spots was beginning to discolor. I scrubbed and scrubbed, however, I could not bring the color back. I used a dark gray grout pen and colored all of the grout on that shower wall and it turned out great. It was easy to use, clean up of any excess on the tile was simple and the color looks great. See photos.Next, my kitchen backsplash. The backsplash is made up of white subway tile with white grout. The only problem is that the white grout became very dingy and yellowish over time. I used the same dark gray grout pens for the backsplash and it turned out amazing. See photos. The grout pens last a long time in my opinion. I used maybe one and a half pens for both my kitchen backsplash and shower wall. I even double coated near the kitchen sink and behind the oven for extra protection. It took me about 8 hours to do the kitchen and shower wall. My recommendation to you would be to complete your task, allow the grout to dry for an hour or so and come back to wipe down the excess color off of the tiles. With a damp cloth, the excess color wipes right off of the tiles. With a non-porous tile, you don’t need to worry about coloring outside the lines. It will not stain. Don’t wipe down after every bit of color you get on the tile, it will add so much time to your job. Wait until you’re all finished, then clean. I used microfiber towels, bundled up and damp. I worked it in circle motions through the tile wall, trying not to apply to much pressure to the grout lines. When the grout color is fresh, some may wipe off if you apply too much pressure directly to the grout. This is why I recommend waiting an hour + before wiping down. Allow it to settle into the grout. I started wiping too quickly after application and had to add some color again. After you clean up the excess color off of the tiles, examine for any touch up areas. There will likely be a few. Some reviews addressed the pen tip breaking. I never experienced this. During the color process, keep a paper plate handy to dab and prime the color into the pen tip. Do this often and you won’t need to press hard while coloring. I could see it breaking if you go all King Kong on it.I can’t speak for the durability of the product yet, but as time goes on, I will update my review. I may add a spray on tile/grout seal after a few days to help protect the color as well.

Well, I got the pen this afternoon and of course had to put it on. I bought it to put on my counters, which I realize is not the recommended application. Any improvement has to be better than what I have. First thing first. It went on beautiful for about the first square foot and a half. Then I the tip was completely useless. I took the tip out and luckily there was another pointed tip on the other end. I was able to eek out another foot or so before that tip was also demolished. Not to be deterred, I grabbed a tiny paint brush and continued. It took two brushes but I was able to get it done. The counters are now a disaster, as they all looked like a two year old has put the stuff on. I saw somewhere to let it set for six hours so I felt somewhat OK about leaving them all messy like that. After a couple of hours I started to worry about the messy counters so I went in and “tried” to wipe the excess off. Not happening. I tried sharpie marker remover... nope. I panicked a bit. I fell back to my emergency go to for any problem... Clorox Wipes. They worked but it was a struggle. I used Clorox wipes and paper towels on every square inch of my counters. The paint stayed in the grout area and my tiles survived, I recommend gloves, which I have but didn’t use. My hands are now a lovely dark grey/black. We’ll see how it works in the long run. I am thinking it may be just as easy to regrout the, but this will buy me some time until them. Would I buy it again? Nope, not unless they improve the pen tip. It was a messy experience.
