This is a genuine teak shower mat that looks just like the photo. When you step on it out of the shower, you get wet footprints that naturally dry in a few minutes. I've enjoyed stepping on this over a fabric mat with the added bonus of not having to wash another rug in the bathroom. It does have a more simplistic vibe due to the raw nature of the wood. It is elevated slightly off the ground to prevent trapped moisture under the wood. Because it is not sealed or glazed, it is slip resistant which is nice. This is great for bathrooms or even for an outdoor pool shower area.

At $64.99 this seems a bit pricy, BUT it is well made and the wood is finished nicely. I've never had a teak bath "mat" before and am curious whether I will love it or hate it long term.**Note** I received this item at a reduced cost as part of the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my honest review. We finally got moved into our new home and I was able to set this up in the master bathroom. I love that it blends in with our wood flooring and that it feels extremely sturdy when standing on it. I will probably get a quick dry flat mat to go underneath to protect the hardwood, but I love this option better than having the bath mat hanging and being put back up every shower we take. Very happy with this and definitely recommend!

We love the look and function of this bath mat, but what we didn't realize is that it sits very high on the floor, probably over an inch. The reason this is a problem is because due to the layout of the bathroom, the mat is very close to the entrance door into the bathroom and is right in the walking path into the bathroom. On two occasions I have stubbed my foot into the bath mat as I was walking into the dark bathroom. If you want to put this bath mat along the walking path into the bathroom, I'd recommend finding something else. If however you'd be placing this bath mat somewhere where it's out of the way and not in the main foot path, it'd look and function great. We have ceramic tile that looks like wood and this bath mat looked so good on it; I really wish it was thinner so we could use it. The reason I marked it down is because the height measurement was not listed and it's really important; it is 1-1/2 inches high.Recommended if you have the right bathroom layout.

I like this wood shower mat because it is elevated off the ground and has spacing in between the slats to allow for good airflow and thus good drying of the mat and the floor after a shower. It is comfortable to step on and also just looks very nice and elegant compared to a traditional fabric mat.

This is really great for next to the shower and even in the shower if needed. It matches the teak bench I have so I couldn't go wrong. It shipped quickly and is in great shape upon arrival. It was kept in a really nice box and not even a bump or scratch on it. It is clear this is quality and will last a long time.

I like the fact this teak shower mat is uncoated since my bare wet feet touch it. No chemicals to worry about. This mat is sleek and sturdy and feels like it will hold up for a long time.The bottom has beefy floor protectors already attached. It came fully assembled which is fantastic. The only issue I had was getting it out of its box which was a snug fit.

This is a nicely made shower mat. They put a lot of care into it but it looks to my eye too much like a wooden pallet. It makes my bathroom look like a loading zone. I'll probably try to stain it a different color and see if that helps. It has no coating so it should be able to take stain.It does flex a little when stepping on it but it has several rubber feet on the back that make it stable.
