Love the look of the wood and color- which is not cream. More like a khaki or putty shade like others have said. Works well. Whistle is on the softer side.

A gorgeous-looking kettle, but the handle is wrapped in a material that already has a flaw. The coating is starting to peel. Very disappointing. I really wanted to like this kettle. I just didn’t notice the flaw until I took off the plastic wrap once we arrived to our vacation condo. My husband is going to apply a dab of Gorilla Glue to try and prevent the lifted tab of material from further peeling. But I’m sad about it. Online this kettle may be described as white, but it’s actually a sand color which is quite lovely. If the seller happens to read this review, it would be so nice to be sent a replacement kettle.

Very beautiful and the lever to open is easy. I think the design could use some work. The top is difficult to get off at first. The opening between the top and handle is small so a little difficult to pour measured water from a coffee cup into the base.

I absolutely love this teapot. The design is very cool looking and it works great. Best part, got it on mega sale so I bought two. Funny, I almost didn't purchase it from other reviewers saying the whistle wasn't super loud and that couldn't be further from the truth. The whistle is so shrill and loud, it hurts my ears. So it's safe to say you can hear the sound no matter where you are in your home. Highly recommend.
