I love my TC Helicon Mic Mechanic, but I couldn’t find any way to run this in a live full volume context without feedback. Sounded brittle at low volumes too. Maybe something with some tubes in it would create a pleasing overdriven sound…but this ain’t it.

Super sensitive, very noisy, and cuts out a lot. Total junk in my personal opinion.
