Used a few times worked decent for price tone button was best part of it, but then a red light kept coming on the second time I used it and it was shut off…don’t waste your time

Great at what it does . Truly like having a sound engineer focusing only on your voice and putting it in right place every time z have never sounded better or felt more confident singing. The TONE is the magic and the rest is frosting (though a touch of slap sure thickens sound nicely) but i will say the correction is as transparent as anything I’ve heard.Recorded vocal samples with out music and could here I was bit offbut listening to recording the results where without any audibleOr tell tale artifacts (at about 25/30%). Completely natural .

The unit I got had an irritating low buzz when connected to the amp. Glad that Amazon provided a return!

I am so impressed with this pedal. I was skeptical, but this pedal makes someone like me who is just getting into singing sound like a pro. And since the pitch correction is a little tame/mild, it forces you to get close to the correct note, thus teaching / training the ear. It is not as durable as my boss pedals for guitar but I stomp on those much more than I will this, so in regards to life expectancy, outlook is good. Love this pedal. Shipper was great. Recommended to everyone!!!!

I like this little box but my mixer already has multiple reverb and echo effects that are a lot better. The voice correction is nice to train you to stay on key. This unit should be less than half the price. You get a better deal with a Mackie pro fx v2 8 channel mixer for about $169.

Purchased for vocal pitch correction, and it worked. I'm guitar player & singer who's 1st focus is my guitar playing. On busy songs or late in a performance, I get out of pitch. this box helps. My band was happy with my vocals when I using the box.

Note: I'm an amateur solo acoustic guitar & singer...Love this all-in-one package, just what I was looking for to help out without a lot of hassle. The default tone setting is a little too bright for me, but I like the secondary milder tone setting. I like that the tone control can remain on while the effects can be off. It de-esses nicely and provides a little compression to provide some stability while still allowing me to give some dynamics high/low volume when needed. The EQ removes a little bit too much low-end in my voice even in the milder tone setting; maybe a mild EQ dial would help future models. The echo and reverb are nice, I tend to just put on a little reverb and leave it. I prefer a mild correction setting and it works well to subtly tighten up my bad notes. However, if you set the correction setting too far, you'll hear that pop-music auto-tune style effect (unless you like that sort of thing). It works nice for jamming by myself, but I intend to use it for upcoming small venues. I also intend to use it for recording in the future, because I don't like to do a lot of post-processing but rather just record live. For recording, I'm particularly interested in the built-in phantom power, compression, and reverb. All around great product for some hassle free subtle help on vocals.

I own both the first and second generation of this pedal. I would recommend this for anyone looking to add Reverb and / or Echo effects to vocals. I've used it for both band and solo gigs and it works very well for these two features. Using the Correction feature, I haven't noticed any significant vocal improvement in either version of this pedal until you turn the knob to the point where it sounds like auto tune, which I personally don't like. So I really don't use the Correction feature. The Tone feature is nice for solo gigs. However, in a band, you will make yourself sound different than the other vocalists and your sound engineer is just going to try and bring you back to how they sound. So unless they are also using this pedal and feature, I would leave Tone off in a band setting. Here are my Pros and Cons, particularly over the first generation Mic Mechanic, which is a good pedal as well.PRO for Mic Mechanic 2:- They got rid of the gain knob on the side, which just added an additional gain in the chain to have to adjust or trouble shoot along with your mixer etc. I assume this was a cool feature for a person using this pedal by itself. Not so much if you are using a mixer.- By having separate Reverb and Echo knobs, they've added some ability to fine tune these effects and added more variety to the Echo (Tape & Digital).- They added 4xAA battery option, which is nice as backup to power- They added an On / Off switch - presumably to save battery if you are not plugged in.CONS for Mic Mechanic 2:- They don't ship with a power chord (at least mine didn't). Luckily I had my chord from my Mic Mechanic 1. However, you will need to provide your own DC power chord if you don't want to burn through batteries.- The two knobs for Echo & Reverb actually make it harder to adjust in the middle of a performance. I was surprised by this. But the 1st generation had all Reverb / Echo effects on one knob and a Dry / Wet adjustment knob to adjust the amount of the effect. While playing (and I also play guitar), I used to be able to use my foot to turn up / down the amount of an effect while singing with that knob. Also, you have a lot more room to sweep the knob in the 1st gen. In the Mic Mechanic 2, if you slightly move the Echo or Reverb knob, it makes large changes. So while you get more features and fine tuning, it's harder to adjust during a song if you are performing.- The bottom of the Mic Mechanic 2 doesn't have the rubber ring which kept it from sliding if you had the pedal sitting on the floor. Why?? I have no idea. MM 1 had the rubber and it helped keep it from moving around.Anyway, I would definitely recommend this pedal to any performer wanting ability to add Echo / Reverb on the fly. I'm not all that impressed with the Correction or Tone, but wouldn't let that stop anyone from buying the pedal.

Very nice product for what it is. Simply and cheaply (considering the alternatives) add some sweet basic effects to your vocals in an easy to use sturdy box. Good for average Joe's who do small gigs or play in the garage. Plug your mic into the box and use guitar pedal board power chain.
