I have 2 of these for my analog mastering studio and they are great. I use them to compare signal coming out of the DAW and then after analog processing coming back in the converters. Fast real time display that can be customized for different loudness metrics and frequency. Able to use RAM mounts to hook it to the desk. Only wish is more options on LUFS to have shorter monitoring time as it shows last 10 seconds and overall program

El complemento ideal para la producción musical pues muestra con precisión detalles del proyecto que cualquier daw puede mostrar pero la ventaja con este producto es que los muestra en su pantalla vía un plugin haciendo más cómodo el proceso de mezcla o mix.

I recently purchased the Professional Stereo Audio Meter, and it has completely transformed my mixing and mastering workflow. The 7" high-resolution LCD display provides unparalleled precision in all studio environments, making it a game-changer for audio professionals like myself. The USB connection for VST, Audio Units, and AAX plug-in metering is a dream come true, offering hassle-free integration with my existing setup. The Stereo 96 kHz AES3 digital audio on 75 Ohm BNC connectors ensures broadcast-grade metering, delivering exceptional clarity and accuracy. The metering toolbox is truly comprehensive, allowing me to diagnose every aspect of my mix, from phase and frequency distribution to loudness and clipping. The Vectorscope and real-time analyzer with 1/3 octave resolution provide in-depth insights for precise adjustments.I particularly appreciate the Balance-O-Meter for quick Left-Right and Mid-Side balance checks, while the correlation meter warns me about potential phase problems. The scalable true peak meter is a standout feature, identifying clipping in DACs, CODECs, and downstream filters. The inclusion of the legendary LM6 loudness radar meter, along with detailed statistics overview and compliance with major broadcast standards, showcases the product's commitment to professional audio standards. The provision for a custom logo on the LCD display adds a personal touch. In summary, the Professional Stereo Audio Meter is a must-have for any serious audio engineer or producer. Its exceptional features, precision, and versatility make it an invaluable tool for achieving top-notch results in mixing, mastering, and post-production.

This is one of the best things I have purchased for my very expensive hobby of bedroom (dining room, to be precise) producing. My wife has commented that it is an early midlife crisis; I don't drive and have zero interest in cars, and my whole set up is a surrogate for buying a Porsche. The Clarity M is built like a tank, with a metal enclosure, plenty of input options, and a nice, crisp display. TC Electronic have put a lot of effort in the firmware, and gives you a lot to work with: frequency analisys, loudness metering, stereo merering, etc. Which can all be customised in some way to fit your workflow the best. I have it currently plugged in over USB, and use their plugin to integrate it into my DAW, but I also have it connected to my mixer, which sadly doesn't have AES or S/PIDF outputs, and which my sound interface doesn't either, so I'm currently using a cheap ADC - I'm pretty sure I can do this less jankily, but it works well and it isn't difficult to switch between inputs. Though the included stand is completely acceptable, I just don't have the table space for it, and I don't like the mounting option (ram mount?) as this would become increasingly expensive and tricky to source. I have instead an inexpensive tablet stand, which just about carries the Clarity M's weight (because of the metal enclosure, the Clarity M is heavy). All this said, this device is a luxury item: you could get equal - maybe even better - results with software: buy a cheap monitor and use it solely to show SPAN or your analyser of choice. But, if you have hardware synths, and don't always want or need to switch on your computer, this is fantastic.

This pro tool is not intended for "audiophiles" but rather for music composers, producers, mastering engineers, etc. So why did I purchase it? Because, as a music lover, I like to watch what the digital bits are really doing and you can't get that, easily, from most music playback programs in Linux (or Windows). Some programs give you some of the features of the "Clarity M Stereo" but NONE provide what this amazing little device provides.Hookup is straightforward. A Toslink cable from your computer to the Clarity M for the digital signal, plus power from a small walwart AC adapter (provided). Note, however, that this type of connection may have issues if your computer's digital output needs to go first to your outboard DAC, integrated amp or receiver. In my case, the digital out of my computer (via USB) goes to a DDC (digital to digital converter) and then is split into several different digital output signals via (RCA, BNC, XLR, HDMI/I2S and Toslink connectors). I used the Toslink out from my DDC to provide a digital signal to the Clarity M. Turn it on and you're greeted with an amazing amount of information about what your music is doing right or wrong. You will have to learn about what some of the info means: like what's a "loudness unit (LU)".One Complaint:The only major complaint I have about the device is the LED display itself. It's bright and colorful, but not all of the LEDs exhibit uniform brightness in the displayed "word headings". For example: the heading "Program Loudness" is displayed in bold white text, but the individual LEDs that make up each letter are not uniformly lit up - some letters have LEDs that appear only half lit. It's annoying, but tolerable. Since there is no mention of the longevity of the LED display from a warranty point of view, I hope that, if more LEDs dim, the warranty will cover repair and replacement since this is a device that is intended to be "on" almost continually if used in a pro studio. The only other "complaint" is that when you get this device you will undoubtedly need to flash a new firmware update. If you use Windows you should have no problem even though the instructions provided are not as clear as they could be IMO. On the other hand if you use Linux (as I do) tech support will tell you that the product is intended for Windows users only and you need to use Windows to flash an update. THIS IS INCORRECT. It is easy to flash the firmware under Linux. Just following the same Windows instructions with the Clarity M connected via their USB cable to your Linux computer. You place the firmware file downloaded from TCElectric's support website into your computer's download folder; place the Clarity in "Disk Drive" mode; open your computer's file manager and drag and drop the firmware file in your download folder into the Clarity M's firmware folder. A dual pane file manager makes this dead easy. Once this is done the Clarity M will ask you to push the reboot button on the Clarity M and the firmware will update the device and you done. What the Clarity M offers in terms of helpful information regarding digital music files is too numerous to go into -- this is not that kind of review. For that, go to YouTube or download the owner's manual and read it. With the one complaint I mentioned above, I can highly recommend the device to those few who want to know more about their digital music in real time.

Wow, what a cool unit, in a glance you can see exactly what frequency is overdriven in your mix, and also see a minute by minute overload of stereo channels, many different option settings for the three main screens. The unit is all digital so is crystal clear and the perfect size for any studio. I checked this unit out on Youtube before buying it and it is in every studio, it's almost as popular as Yamaha NS10's. I am feeding this unit from a Tascam da 3000 recorder and the Clarity M includes the stereo digital xlr adapter right in the box. I had it running in less than 10 minutes.
