Your cart is empty.This Removable Universal Carpenter’s Square Fence will increase the usefulness and accuracy of any carpenter’s framing square by providing a much more accurate reference surface. The fence is easily attached to either arm of any framing square via two brass thumb screws. Once attached, a framing square can be placed on a workpiece with one leg aligned with the material edge and it will stay in place without any external support. When attached, the fence also acts as a handle to give you a better grip in your square. The fence has a 1 inch tall fence on one side, and when flipped has a narrower 1/4 inch high fence. Slot will accept squares up to 3/16 inch thick. Overall length is 7-7/8 inches. Made from extruded and anodized aluminum.

The thumbscrews hold well, and the gap easily supports the thicker steel framing square I have. Super handy as a square guide for routers, jigsaws, even circular saws for shorter cuts.Going to buy a couple more to hand off as gifts.

Been using a T-square and triangles for 55 years then this came along. A most satisfying tool in the hand and with greatly accurate results on several ancient framing squares. I can use with big kinda beat up 30/60/90 triangles to great advantage due to transparency. I use with 3 ~ 6mm Sintra board for custom or sacrificial applications. Best tool for 2024. Excellent!

Simply a good idea. Works well and is not overpriced. My only complaint is that the holes for the set screws seem to be slightly too big so that the screws are kind of loose. This doesn't affect the usefulness of the guide though.
