This test kit is easy to use. Just follow the instructions. We had trouble keeping our pool water clear This kit is more accurate than the test strips gives you instructions on adjusting the chemicals and ir calling for support. I recommend this test kit.

I've used this water testing kit for 15 years for both a pool and a spa, I test water year round..its accurate each and every time and easy to use! No need for trips to the pool store with this at home kit..I've tried another brand once, but, this Taylor kit is superior and I will continue to buy it!!

My pool maintenance company recommended I purchase this test kit because I was having so much trouble with the test kits I had used for my pool water. This kit shocked me at how accurate it is and my pool this past Summer stayed balanced all season. I highly recommend.

This kit is surprisingly good.All the reagents are color coded by their Cap. -Very Nice.e.g. Alkalinity reagents are grouped by Green. Both by Cap Color and the guide is coded to this color.The guide is a type of plastic coated, so it is very durable.The kit box snap-locks well and stores easily.I have run this test along with other reagent tests by other manufacturers and this is accurate.There are two detractors;1. The printed guide gives zero help when a test is out of bounds (e.g. High PH) it simply says go to your local retail outlet for help. -Ridiculous.2. The vile for PH measurement is very very small and it is very difficult to fill it to the appropriate line w/o using an actual dropper. It fits in the kit physically well, but is very difficult to not overfill.

This works great, my only negative comment is that the instruction manual on my prior kit had a nice simple one pager that summarized the instructions on just one page. With this one you have to keeping flipping through the instruction pages to follow the testing instructions, until you memorize them. Otherwise its great.

Great kit for a hot tub. This is my second purchase of the k-1004. Pay the extra for the Taylor kits.

Good value for a hard to find test kit. this was a replacement for the same test kit that I used for over five years. Once I started testing the water my self, I was able to maintain my 25,000-gallon, gunite pool without a service company and without buying hundreds of dollars worth of obscure additives from the local pool supply. Now I only add shock once about every ten days, phosphate free to keep algea from ever getting a foothold, and keep calcium hypochlorite in the floater. I buy these chemicals when they are on sale in the larger quantities and enjoy the pool May through October in North Texas.
