Way cheaper than buying a whole new kit. Just pull the top off of the small bottle and refill it with this.Would recommend.

I was buying a smaller bottle from another pool supply vendor but this pricing is much better and you get more product. Works as intended to test my stabilizer / cyanuric acid. With as hot as it's been in Florida you have to stay on top of this stuff or your chlorine (or salt generated chlorine) will get ate up and you'll have algae in no time.

You have to check your CYA level. Too much can make your chlorine worthless or having to make you add more. I learned the hard way. Happy about this purchase.

Good replacement for my large Taylor kit. Some of the older chemicals started to expire and run out, so I figured I'd replace the ones I used often. No problems so far. Should last a few years.

I seem to go thru this chemical more frequently than the others in my Taylor test kit, so was happy to find such a large refill for such a good price.

For almost two months I was struggling with algae even with chlorine levels of 40PPM, then I learnt from many resources and primarily through pool forum that high CYA makes chlorine useless AND using stabilized chlorine pucks do add CYA. My pool was cloudy, and had slippery floor due to algae growing on the floor even after scrubbing twice everyday. With help of the Tyler kit and this reagent I found that my CYA was 120PPM I gradually I brought the CYA down to 50PPM and stopped using the stabilized chlorine Pucks. Ow my pol is crystal clear cat actually see the bottom of m 8" deep pool it is a wonderful sight. So if you maintained your own pool buy this and do check your CYA regularly, if not you might have to dump gallons of sock and still have no effect on algae. One more thing I bought this from "USA General Store Storefront" due to my positive experience with them in the past not sure why the listing shows different.
