I used this when rebuilding a Stratocaster. Works extremely well. After a year, the adhesive is still strongly attached to the body with no deterioration. Very noticeable difference in EMI noise, completely gone. Great prodoct.

I got this to cut down on slugs and snails without having to keep buying poison.IT WORKS 100%!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.Note: I applied this tape (actually, it is just a very thin copper sheet with adhesive on the back) to wooden rails around a raised garden. The wood was brushed off but far from "clean". It STICKS.Seriously.. we have had ZERO slime crawlers since. No Slugs, No Snails. If you have a snail/slug problem: this is your Silver (er...COPPER) Bullet!

This was the best value I could find on Amazon per square inch of copper foil tape, even among other sellers of Tapes Master products. So if you were looking for a thinner width tape, you might as well get this and cut it into thinner strips! I can confirm that it is easily soldered onto and that the adhesive backing is very conductive. The adhesive is also plenty sticky and adheres well. It smooths out very flat. Even when I laid it out in curved traces so that the surface initially buckled (as you would expect because it's not elastic), it flattened out perfectly when I rubbed my finger over it. The same goes for adhering it to curved surfaces. It was exactly what I was looking for.

(See update below) I was pleasantly surprised how well the adhesive backing stuck to the edges of my raised garden beds. They are made of Trex, a simulated wood, and it stuck just fine.Application tip: peel the backing off gradually as you apply. Press down the first edge, pull some more backing off, press more, pull some more backing off. If you're applying a long stretch and pull all the backing off at once, it instantly curls up on itself and you'll be hard pressed to get it to unstick from itself. This is a very large roll and I had left over even after doing 3 garden beds. Will My goal in buying this was to keep slugs out of the boxes growing vegetables. Is that just an urban myth? Guess we'll find out.I'll update this review as I see whether that works.[6 Month Later update: Good: Adhesive still holds. Tape has not come off edge of garden boxes after spending 6 months in the sun and rain. Bad: Slugs still got into the planting boxes. The "slugs won't crawl over copper" idea appears to be a myth.]

We had an enormous slug and snail problem with our earthboxes and other gardening boxes. We bought some of this copper foil tape, wrapped it around all 9 of our earthboxes, to include some other garden boxes, and now our problems are completely gone. It is extremely easy to apply, and if applying it to a round surface, it will get some crinkles in it, but it'll still work fine. We couldn't be happier, and again, it was extremely easy to do. It stuck really well to the plastic gardening containers, and also to itself, so you need to exercise some caution when applying it. There is a backing on the tape you must peel off, so you can cut it to length first, and then peel off the backing as you are applying it. The backing on the tape does enable you to be able to handle the tape pretty well, but once you remove the backing, it's just like aluminum foil, but sticky.

I used this tape to create a ring around my flower pots and little protective barriers for seedlings in my garden to protect from the massive amounts of slugs and snails around my house. It's a lot of tape. I still have some left over after taping a ring around every planter and flower pot I own. Seems to be working. My plants are happy and free of slug and snail damage. It's a little hard to believe something so simple could work so well.

As of 03/05/2015 this is by far the cheapest copper tape available for any sort of electronic or guitar shielding. Used it to shield 2 guitars and tested with a volt/ohm meter after and it showed absolutely no resistance, and this was without any soldering, so the adhesive is extremely conductive and does exactly what it should. I did a lot of searching, and I could not find anything even remotely close to this price for this much, and I've still got a ton left over. I'll be using this tape for a long time, and if I need more, this is what I'll be buying.

I use this product to shield the interiors of solid body guitars. The tape is conductive through the adhesive. It adheres well. It's easy to work with but doesn't lift well if you're trying to reset it. Once firmly applied, you can't lift it an reuse it. But it does the job it's supposed to do and does it well.
