I am very happy with this item.I have ordered several of these bits and have been happy with all of them.This bit is sharp and dimensions are correct.I have used this bit for carving 3D reliefs in wood with great success. It didn't take some experimentation to find the proper feed and speeds but I was able to get a very smooth 3D carving in walnut without the need for a finish pass. I recommend you start a little slower than you normally would. My first attempt was fuzzy but the finish improved dramatically when I slowed it down a little bit.Overall I definitely recommend these bits. They are really as good as some of the name brands at a fraction of the price and work perfectly for me.

I have both 1/8" and 1/16" versions - both work great!3D carves come out great in HDU sign foam, I can see no difference in quality between this bit and the more expensive bit's I have used.I can't speak to how long it will stay sharp, but my other carbide bits last a long time in HDU and I'm fairly sure that HDU is like nothing to a carbide bit.The pricing is significantly lower too.

Even though the color makes no difference for my work, it does make it easier to locate when placed with similar bits. Or, if it gets out of where I expect it to be. So far everything works as expected. I'm waiting to see if the bit remains usable longer than others I have.

I wanted a ball mill to do some 3D relief carving, and got this one. I was surprised to see it had a mirror polish on it at this price, for sure. The bit is sharp all the way down the cutter too, I expect it is going to be long lasting. I can't see any defects in it, and it cuts my Al workpieces like they were nothing.Love it!
