The product is fine, but will require some drilling if you are mounting at the top.Mfg. Error 1: The holes for the metal base plate don't align to those of the plastic top stand, so I had to drill a new hole to connect the two.Mfg. Error 2: The punch out at the top to mount to the plastic top stand didn't have a hole, so I had to drill one to run Romex through.Aside from that, it works great. If you are simply mounting to a wall, this likely won't be an issue. My front door is all glass, so hanging from the top was the only option.Everything else connects easy and kit includes all you will need. It's light and secure. I was careful with the clips and was able to instal without breaking any. Just wish they designed it properly for suspension mounting at the top. Luckily, I had all the bits I needed.

Units work the same as ame. Brand items for half the cost. Installation is the same as name brands.

Sadly our renovation got interrupted & we put these to the side so we didn't find out until it was too late. One of the lights works fine, but one of them - the emergency lights will not come on.

I purchased and installed these at the church that I attend. The insurance underwriter did their annual inspection and noticed that our exit lights did not have a battery back up to turn them on in the event of a fire during a power outage. They gave us 30 days to upgrade.These lights were easy to install. Any difficulty I had was with the existing wiring being too short, but that was not the fault of the these emergency exit signs. They are lightweight but since I had to attach these to several concrete block walls, I had to use a hammer drill to use the fasteners provided to attach them to the wall. Attaching them to a hollow stud wall would be a piece of cake.The instructions explain the installation so that any DIY person who feels comfortable installing a light fixture should have no problems. The lights, once installed, are nice and bright and performed as designed when I turned off the power to test the battery backup system. The emergency lights came on and the exit sign remained illuminated and will aid anyone trying to exit our building during a fire or other emergency when the power also fails. There may be products that feature more heavy duty construction, but these are a great value and should perform as needed. We are very happy with the purchase, and the insurance underwriter was satisfied with the new fixtures with regards to their coverage of the building. I would buy the product again if needed.

This wasn't my 1st time purchasing and using this product. The former orders are still working as advertised.Easy to install and works good. I would recommend these emergency Exit signs.
