Just wish this had a longer cord. 3 ft. does not take it very far up the wall. But it is okay. Power flashed off the other day and this light immediately came on. As soon as the power was restored the light turned itself off. Great product.

After losing electricity for the neighborhood while I was on a treadmill in the basement with no windows, I decided I needed to install an emergency light. After some searching, I chose this Tanlux LED light. It arrived as scheduled and I installed it without problem.This does require plugging into an existing outlet, but in my case there was no outlet where I wanted the light. I had to run new wires. This may require the services of an electrification.

this unit comes complete with a plug already attached to it. It’s easy to install. The lighting is decent. But it only lasts about 2 1/2 hours when activated such as a power outage.. There are better and cheaper ones out there that lasts much much longer...

if you look closely at the pictures, the light isn't even on, this is so dull when it's on that you probably would be better off with a candle

Well, I must say the light is good overall, however, I had to go into the back of the unit to plug in the battery. It worked perfetcly after that. The directions dont really help, but make sure you do plug in the battery inside of the back. Nontheless, bright, usefel and worth it.

I'm very pleased with the Tanlux LED Emergency Lights They are very bright and easy to install. This corded model allows the light to be plugged in anywhere without hard wiring into the electrical system. At first the lights would not light after charging. There is a small red wire that may need to be snapped into its connection once the panel is removed from the back of the unit. Very simple, and then the lights worked immediately. I think the factory may have left this to keep the batteries from draining during shipment. I would recommend this product, and will buy additional units in the near future.
