Negative 5 stars. Don't trust with your monitors. The tubes are very thin wall, and the plates inside the tubes are just barely tack welded in. They too are very thin and soft sheet metal. There is no nut inside, and the thin plate is the only piece where the screws thread into, so there are basically no threads to hold the screw. Both top and bottom screw holes on each tube are like this. I did think about adding a nut by dropping it down the tube, but read on as to why that is risky too.I knew they wouldn't work the way they were, but since I had unpacked it already, I decided to see how bad they really were, and figured maybe I could modify them to work. Nope. They were worse than I thought and not worth my time.The bottom screws started stripping out on the first stand with less than a 1/4 turn past finger tight. When I put my 20lbs. monitor on it, (a 1/5 of the "110lbs" rating it claims to have), the pole started leaning and I could hear the threads pulling out the rest of the way. On the second stand, the welds on the little plate broke. Both were set to their shortest level.

I was impressed how great quality and sturdy these monitor(speaker) stands are....and for the price, it's a steal as there are other stands more expensive and not the same material quality. I'd buy a pair again if needed.

These are exactly what I needed. The optional feet for both hard floors and carpeting are great. I have thick carpet in my studio and the adjustable carpet spikes work perfectly. The stands feel well-made and sturdy.

These stands were significantly less expensive than competitors, yet do exactly what I needed them to do. They’re sturdy and the base is the perfect size. Plus, they’re padded for speaker stability.

Base is larger than the platform to sit the speaker on. And they didn’t include any instructions on proper way to put together

This speaker stand is very well made. Heavy gauge metal. Real easy to assemble. And it is surprisingly stable at the highest setting. I highly recommend it. It took 7 days to receive it from the day I placed my order. But well worth the wait.
