When looking at the Amazon ad- it indicated that this was TAndy calf leather lacing.I have used Tandy before - but I am disappointed at their current quality.The spool of 50 yds was:1) Labeled as made in India.2) appeared old- dry- brittle - not pleasant to work with as I thought it would break. I used 1 yard before giving up. It is not processed correctly or it would be pliable for lacing purposes as it is sold for.3) unusable. Wa$te.Tandy used to be known for quality.

The lace is hard and brittle and has a lot of cracks and imperfections on what I have pulled off of the spool so far. I can't use it for my purposes and I would really like to return it, but the listing says free returns only for "new and unused condition". I didn't know that it was terrible until I opened the spool and pulled some off (maybe 10 feet) and tried to use it!!! Boo.
