This laser level offers exactly what I was looking for, projecting perpendicular lines in 4 planes. I am just starting to use it, but it seems accurate and straight-forward. Unfortunately, product information was lacking with the product. Even the product QR code offered no useful information. Most of what I have figured out, I have done by reading the Amazon description, other's comments, and simply playing with the controls. The laser is bright, so be careful of your eyes and those of any children who may venture near.

I have found this to be a very accurate level at an appropriate price. I would not use it beyond 30 or so feet (for my needs) but close in accuracy is great. I got the green line ... it is very hard to see in bright sun, but fortunately putting a shadow over the line makes it visible again. I paired it with a Dewalt tripod and have found it works great. Battery life it great, with turning if off when not needed, it easily makes it through the day on a single charge.

Level lines are as good as my 3 foot level. Green lines are easy to see. Battery life is good. Used it for several hours continuously and battery was still near full charge according to its led status lights. Only minor issue I ran into using it was that you cannot get horizontal lines very close to the ceiling since the light source is at the bottom of the unit. Comes with a nice carrying case and several mounting attachments. Overall a good buy for the price.

I like this laser. It has good distance, bright, crisp green lines, and tolerably visible in sunshine. The battery lasts for a long time and no annoying auto-shutoff, pure joy. However, the buttons are exactly where anyone will grab to pick up the unit and require a very light touch, clicky microswitches would be a great improvement. And the storage. At the end of the day I want to pack up my gear and get out as simply and quickly as possible. I don't want to dismantle the laser because the battery must be removed. I don't want to take it all apart just to put it back together in the morning. The bracket could use a physical clamp or screw hole, and note that the laser goes in/out of the holder far too easily, I use a piece of tape so it stays.Absolutely would buy it again

Works great. Comes with everything except the laser reader to use as a transit but it does have the pulse feature that makes it capable of beeing used in such an application.

I did a good bit of research before I bought this laser level. Not only did it check all the boxes but has features I didn't think I would need. But they have turned out to be quite useful. I'm not a professional, just a serious DIY guy remodeling our downstairs. The laser is bright green and seems to show up better than a red angle laser I bought several years ago. This thing throws enough vertical and horizontal lines to satisfy any need I will have. I thought the remote control was overkill but it has turned out to be the biggest surprise of all... Very convenient and useful. And the apparatus that comes with it to hang it most anywhere really is a plus. My drop-down ceiling will be perfectly level and square thanks to this guy. And it didn't hurt that it was on sale for Prime Days.I thought about buying a cheaper one but after I watched the videos I found on it I decided to take a chance and go up to the Takamine. I had never heard of them before but the quality seems to be top notch. So glad I got it. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks so I can't comment on long-term durability. But as far as function goes you can't beat it. I was also impressed with the case it came in to protect it.I'm not going to create a video because there are already some good ones about this product. And you should watch a couple that show all the features of this level. The only negative thing I can say is that the beams are briefly interrupted by the bars that hold a protective shield above each laser. But they aren't show stoppers and I don't think they could have been avoided. The shields do need to be there. And remember never to look at the laser directly.I highly recommend this product. If it continues to function as it has so far I will be totally pleased.

Bought this unit for a couple of reasons. First, it was substantially less expensive than some of the other major manufacturers. Second, I was looking for a laser that would help me accurately locate pot light cut outs after ceiling drywall installation. I came up with a system to get the pot light center (with the laser) and make a reference point on the subfloor. Later, use the laser aligned to the reference point on the floor to project the center of the pot light on the ceiling. Also, an excellent unit for projecting 360 degree horizontal lines for upper cabinet installation, etc.

I really like the laser. The lines are much easier to see than the red of previous lasers. I wish they were finer, but they're the same as any other laser I've used. The remote works well. The battery lasts a long time, like forever, it seems. The case is great. The buttons on the side are touch activated, not clicking, which confuses me, since everything else I have has clicking buttons. The one thing I really don't like is the adjustable arm - The magnets are NOT strong enough. If the laser is out towards the end where you get the most adjustability, it can seem secure, but come off at any time from some slight vibration, making it a dicey proposition to stick on a wall with the plate or on a metal stud. There should be more, or stronger, magnets to keep from dropping the laser. I kept it anyway and mostly use a tripod.

Wanted to buy a green laser, 3-axis level for some home improvement projects. I had an old red laser one that was 15+ years old (Craftsman), but wanted an upgrade to the more visible green laser. The name brand ones at the big box home improvement stores were outrageous in price. My wife suggested I look on Amazon and we found this Takamine model that had good accuracy and some nice features that the name brand ones didn't have including a very nice magnetic hanger with 3-axis adjustments. Seemed like a reasonable price so we decided to give it a try.It works great. Really like the remote, the removable battery, and the hard case. But the adjustable, magnetic hanging device is the best feature. Purchased an inexpensive piece of steel, screwed it to my wall, and was able to infinity adjust the laser to line up all my grout lines in my shower. Very handy. The only real negative is that it doesn't seem to really turn off. If you leave the battery installed, it tends to drain. So between use, just slide the battery off and it does not drain.
