Worked fine but the power button didn’t work. The item would not shut off. Returning.

Buy it now if you’re a plumber and use a plumb bob still. It is a very powerful tool. It can speed up a job exponentially. You’d be a fool not to buy it. I can’t speak as if it were the best product of its kind, or how long it last, or the battery life. All I can say is Im a 20 year plumber and I was absolutely amazed, it will make a big difference in your work, I just hope it won’t break on you; and you t doesn’t give me a vibe that it will. It looks like a solid product to me.

I used this laser plumb bob to mount hexagon garage ceiling lights. First I used the laser to plot out the garage ceiling obstacles on the floor with blue tape. Because the laser shoots down and straight up, I could shine the laser through the mounting hole on the assembled light fixture laying on the floor, and project the mounting holes to the ceiling. Only one hole didn't line up. Maybe something moved between markings. This thing really made it easy to hang these lights. I bought this for this one project, and it was worth it.

Does the job well. Once you install the rack underneath it's easy to align with the mark on the floor to map it after that on the ceiling (installing sport lights). Does what it was supposed to do!

In my industry alot of the guys use the PLS brand, which we all know is pretty pricey. I put mine next to those and couldnt tell a difference.

Green dot, points up, with enough range to hang points most places here anyways.

Pour mon usage personnel ce laser ne sert à rien car il n’est pas autonivelant. C’est simplement des points fixe …Donc je donne 1* car la description est erroné, mais si c’est ce que vous avez besoin sa me semble un bon laser pour le prix.

Really like the price. Also like how perfectly the dot matches with my $500 Milwaukee line laser. One thing I don’t like is that it’s hard to reach the dot on the ground since it is in the middle of the laser body. Im a plumber so I do my layout on the ground and trace my end of pipe and hangers using the dot laser.m So far it is working great.

lightweight, nice bright lasers and a durable casing...nice green body color too...could have been less expensive but still a good price!

This Line Laser was purchased to dermime elevation difference in my residential property. The Line Laser emits a Green light which requires that you do NOT look directly at the light unless proper tinted glasses are used. The unit was mounted to a hight quality camera tripod which which uses a different mounting than a standard Surveying Tripod. The most difficult problem was locating the Laser beam at a long distance. The difference when beam is in the "locked" position is considerable from the un-locked position. Attempting to locate the Green Laser at +100 FT was very difficult using the Green Target included with the product package. The included Green target is great after location however, very small changes in the horizonal direction at the tripod mount will result is a huge change in the target location. Several trips between the Line Laser and the Target were required to locate the Laser point using a larger reflective target. Another problem is mounting the target to the Grade Rod. The provided Green target is designed for us on magnet metal and not for use on a Aluminum Ground Rods. There are no low cost mountings on a Ground Rod for a Green Target so a improvised clamped connection was used. This is not ideal for making multiple measurements quickly. There are a few manufacturers that supply a Green Laser Target mounted to a Ground Rod however, the prices are out of the range of non-professional users. Missing is a Green Target mount to a Ground Rod to accept the included target is missing.

I bought this for leveling 60' X 12' process skids. Unfortunately I bought it several months before I actually needed it.When I started the laser was fairly easy to see in the daylight. After about 30 minutes I noticed that the laser was noticeably dimmer. I replaced the battery. This did not improve the situation, so I turned it off thinking that it might need to cool off. When I turned it back on it was slightly brighter so I continued to use it, although it dimmed back to where it was quickly. I ended up having to finish the job with a red laser level that I have used for the last 18 years.Your luck may be better than mine, but I'm going to spend more money next time.
