TACTIK Soft Top for TJ 1997-2006
TACTIK Replacement Soft Tops are custom designed to fit over your factory installed soft top hardware on your Wrangler TJ 1997-2006 for complete fabric replacement and vehicle up-grade. This complete kit comes with everything you need including custom-fit fabric and removable windows, to do a complete replacement of that old, worn soft top.
TACTIK Soft Tops feature tape sealed seams to keep the weather out, and the tough DOT compliant 20 mil 31% rear tinted glass keeps the heat out in the warm summer months while the tough vinyl coated polyester fabric will extend the life of your top.
Removable side and rear windows are great for those open-air summer days. The rear window can also be rolled up and secured by the attached elastic straps.

Durable Soft Top Material
Constructed of a multi-layer vinyl coated polyester and cotton mix, our widely popular Black Diamond and Black or Spice Denim textured options provide lasting durability with UV and weather resistance. Unlike cheap fabrics used on imported soft tops, the premium fabric maintains shape in any temperature.
Pressed Window Glass
TACTIK uses Press Polished 31% tinted windows that are DOT compliant. Unlike "Rolled" glass, which is used in low-cost soft tops, TACTIK windows do not distort your view and the 20 mil thickness ensures the glass lasts longer than other thinner aftermarket window glass.
Marine Grade Stitching
TACTIK sewn seams are stitched with tough marine grade polyester thread that’s UV protected and rot resistant providing years of long-lasting enjoyment. The vinyl coated fabric is engineered to resist fading and wear from the elements. Seams also feature heat taped seals to prevent leaks.
Requires Soft Top Hardware
TACTIK Fabric Only Replacement Soft Tops use your factory original hardware and door surrounds (not included) for installation. These tops do not include the necessary bows, front header channel and installation hardware for a full Top replacement. If you don’t have them already, you will need to purchase this kit separately.
Replacement Door Skins
TACTIK Soft Top for Wrangler TJ has options for with or without door skins available for purchase. The upper door skin glass is clear for maximum visibility of your side mirrors. These soft upper doors are engineered to last, but should you ever need replacements, we sell replacements separately.

Top and door windows fit good but the plastic on the door windows is trash got the kit for my son’s jeep at Christmas and a week later the driver door window cracked when I opened it to get an order at a drive through and Amazon said that I would have to send the whole top back to get a refund so I could get a replacement

Been waiting to get a new cover for months. I finally decided to pull the trigger on this and im glad i did. I had the factory cover on for almost 20 years on my jeep 04 wrangler. Not only was this easy to install but i had an issue with the driver side panel and the zipper. Customer service was spectacular. Helping me in a timely manner. They are sending me a whole new piece. I feel like good customer service is so hard to find these days. This alone would make me order anything from this company. As far as the cover goes it seems like durable material and really adds a whole new look to my jeep.

It was pretty hard to stretch around the door frames, but looks OK on. The windows are pretty wrinkled though. Not as smart looking as the smittybuilt one I had.

If you just want a soft top for the purpose of keeping rain out, saving your fingers from getting cuts from rusty, funky zippers and spending most of its time folded down, this is for you! If you want a super tight fitting top of the line top that does XxXxXx....look on. Here's my take:Pros:It's new. My old one was 22 years oldIt fits! Tints look goodKeeps you dryDecent zippersSimple install, do it on a warm dayEasier to put up or take down than a 22 year old oneAgain, keeps you dry!Cons:It's thinIt flaps, a LOT. Esp on hot days (which means...put it down)It's incredibly noisy with the windows openStitching seems questionableOverall, for the price it's a good stop-gap piece that'll keep your seats dry!

No me gustó que las medidas no coincidan pues quedó incompleta mi instalación en las ventanas delanteras es un fraude porque no creo que sea la primera de estas que vendan me gustaría regresarles las ventanas y que me devolvieran unas de tamaño adecuado ya he instalado toldos de este tipo y es la primera vez que pasa esto con esta marca

Like everyone else said, it is tight , I said multiple curse words, even after letting it sit in the sun it was still hard to get on. and there’s one snap on the back bar that I still can’t get snapped. I’ve driven it around without the windows zipped in as a bimini top, it doesn’t make a ton of noise and after I zipped the windows in very low noise not much flapping. So it’s good that it’s tight and hard to put on. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. It looks good too.

You know the Best Top is a better long term investment, but you just need something "good enough" for now. And that's exactly what this Top did for me. I didn't maintain my last tops zipper with wax or lubricant like I should have and the back window was a goner. So....enter cheap fix before winter, this Top. The fit and finish is trash. The material is really thin. The zippers are at best durable back pack grade, not automobile grade. Do yourself a favor and leave it out in the sun for a couple hours, cuz your gonna have to stretch the $hit out of it to make it fit. Manage your expectations! You cheaped out and got what you paid for. For a little more $ I would get to Sierra Offroad Top. It's what I had before. Better quality. If I had maintained the zippers, it would've lasted until the Best Top investment.

This replacement top fits perfectly on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler and with the step by step instruction it was an easy install. I have owned my Jeep for 20 years and this is the 3rd replacement top and the first one that I installed myself. The material seems to be good quality and the top itself looks really awesome, fits well and no wrinkles. It also arrived by the date stated. I am a happy camper. I am also picky and would recommend this product
