These worked great for putting a mail box post together. Nice and sturdy for the material thickness and not expensive. The screws I saved for later because I wanted something longer.

It's a great way to add strength to a corner joint of a 4x4 timber

I used these on the inside back corners of a wooden cabinet that desperately needed some added lateral support. These fit well, and were square enough to go in easily, and without any hassle. They work well, are quite sturdy, and added a great deal of stiffness to the back of the cabinet. Being black, they look great if you notice them, but blend right into the dark rear of the cabinet corners, which is great. These are a good quality metal bracket, not a cheap plastic version, and I believe they are well worth the cost.

These are nice heavy duty corner braces. We used these braces on a gazebo project and they really added some extra piece of mind to our project. We secured our beams to our posts from the top using long construction lags, but we added these braces to the corner as well. Not only did the tighten up the corners but they also added some piece of mind. They also look very nice and they have been holding up to the elements great!

These mending plates (2 per order) are thick 1/8" steel with a black coating. Most people probably don't modify these, but I needed to remove about 1/4" from each of the four ends for my project, and I had the dubious pleasure of cutting through these and confirming just how solid and well-made they are. Oh, and they're heavy, too. I don't know what more you'd want in a mending plate.
