These are great, I only used a few to replace some of the straps that were old or broken. Good quality material and they hold up well.

Got these to add a little more structual support to a pergola I am building. Not near an ocean so no hurricane winds but we do get some strong gust from time to time. This will be exposed to straight North and South winds so want a little more security that no board will end up in a neighbors window or car.

These claim to be 20 gauge (I didn't check). The ones at the home improvement stores claim 18 gauge. These don't feel noticeable lighter and seem pretty sturdy. At $18, these are priced comparably to the local stores and they seem like a decent product. A great option if getting them from Amazon could save you a trip to the store!My only complaint is the packaging. These are in a bag inside a flimsy cardboard box. The box is highly unlikely to survive shipping. Not a problem unless you have other items shipped with them that could be damaged!
