These are decent joist hangers. Consistent and of appropriate gauge for a 2x4.They are well made. The powder coat finish looks good. The hangers are consistent. The horizontal support is adequate. Four holes for fasteners going into the board being hung. The dogs/spikes are a nice feature to aid in initial placement.

I am using these joist hangers for a shed build. I was different Is impressed with the price and quality. You usually don't get both. I definitely need some more to finish out my project. I will not hesitate to buy more.

These are very good joist hangers for projects using 2x4s. Very strong product that the 2x4 fits in perfectly.

I've tried joist hangers from different sources before and these are excellent. The black finish, powder coat presumably, is super durable. These hangers exhibit excellent quality control in uniformity and being free of sharp edges, so I can work with them without gloves.They look great in exposed joist applications. My only issue is that the product description touts them as both joist hangers and rafter ties or hurricane ties. I'm not sure the straight 90 degree angle is suited for rafters, but I could be wrong. I don't see how they would work for rafters/hurricane ties.Finally at slightly over a dollar each this product is a good value.

These are standard joist hangers for 2x4.They are painted black and water resistant. I’m building an awning over my outdoor patio and plan have exposed beams.Comparatively, the steel hangers from Home Depot aren’t that good looking for exterior because they only have silver not black. These black ones matches my other hardware and the deck railing. The hangers are also well designed. It has the standard tab that you can quick install with a hammer and 2 nail holes on each side. I used deck screws to match my deck’s color. The nail holes facing each other are staggered, so you can screw or nails from both sides of the 2x4 without hitting each other.Overall, it was really easy to use and made my awning look like professional finish.

Review for 16 Pcs 2"x 4" Joist Hanger,Q235B Steel Face Mount Joist Hangers,Black Powder Coated Hurricane Ties for Rafter, Rafter Brackets for Floor, Deck and Ceiling Joists.These are okay quality. I usually buy the galvanized ones from a big box store, as that way I can use them anywhere.This set doesn't have the angled holes to guide in screws so that they support the 2x4 better (as screws inserted at an angle will support better than screws attached 90 degrees to the wood). They do have the little pieces of metal that you hammer into the wood to hold the wood so that it doesn't shift while you add the screws.

These are nice painted black and would be great exposed on a gazebo or arbor. They are not the thick metal like traditional joist hangers and do not have the angled screw holes. Instead they have just through holes so the nails/screws only go straight into 1 board at a time instead of angled through both. Wouldn’t support a house with them, but they look nice!
