Picked These up for my rear turn signal bulbs and they did not want to work with a load stabilizer installed on my motorcycle that is needed for my other lights to work.

I installed these in my 72 Datsun 510, which has notoriously dim taillights. Since the housing is a "reflector" type (a chrome lining) these rear-facing led's are perfect. They're meant to face the chrome housing so they reflect off of it and out the lens. They are incredibly bright in the proper housing!I think many of the people who buy these don't realize they're meant for reflector-type housings. If you don't have that type, a rear-facing LED like this will be a turd. If you have the proper application for these, they're great.

While the package says they are not approved for the highway use, they work well, bright enought and replaced my incadescent stop-light bulbs that starter buring out. It was a simple replacement as the socket is exactly as on the old bulbs.

Let's get it out of the way: it's two to three time more expensive then the Far East products but after trying a bunch of Chinese made LED bulbs have to say that hands down these put out the most light output and do not heat up as much as the Chinese LED , you start to see why there are more expensive.There is one more thing that you must KEEP IN MIND when wanting to purchase one of these: These LED are made to be used in a tail light that has a REFLECTOR in it, without it the light output will decrease since the LED array is on the Y axis of the bulb (around the bulb and none on top).Hope it helps.
