Replacing the plastic clips holding the shelfs up was a great choice. Had to drill the holes in the cabinet just a bit deeper toaccomodate the shaft. (Older shelving unit)Being metal, they provide plenty of strength, and the chrome plating looks sharp too.

The shelf pins are advertised as 1/4” inch. In actuality, they measure at .195 inches instead of .25. Very deceptive advertising and they certainly don’t fit snuggly in a 1/4 hole.
