They don't stay stuck down. My shelves have fallen many times, and I have now had to use several next to each other to keep the shelf up, I hope it holds now. I wouldn't buy them again and do not recommend them.

These stick like a bastard, perfect for areas you don't want to drill into. Putting up shelves against porcelain wall tiles that suck to drill into. Plus no damage when you change your mind. Wicked good choice
