I've tried four other brands of universal glide wax and they were too sticky and slow in cold weather, lower than +10F. The F4 glides well on cold and dry old snow, new snow, crust and ice down to -10F. This is my go to glide wax for hot waxing bases. I also rub it on skins (and have also hot waxed it on skins) and it works as well as any I've tried and better than some. Much better than paste waxes like Maxiglide that were too slow on skins.

Arrived on time. Easy to apply. Wax Coating lasts about 2-3 hrs., which is about the extent to which I work out before a break anyway. Very happy with the effect of the coating on my "waxless" X-C skis.

This is great wax. The other comment about not being Fluoro is ridiculous! That is what the BIG F in F4 stands for. I ski 50+ times a year. Works well in all but the warmest conditions when nothing really works.
