I have two 15-year-olds that compete in snowboarding, and I am so glad we started using Swix Snowboard wax. My boys love that they wax their own boards now rather than having to drop their boards at the ski shop and being a slave to their hours and varying employee skills. Swix is the best value for your money and its a big bar. This wax is great, and we love that it is biodegradable, and holds heat way better than the others on the market. Use yellow, pink or blue depending on your mountain temps you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this product because I was running out of wax and I needed some for my upcoming ski trip with my ski team. I had never use this one before and was willing to give it a try. It came in three days and was packaged well so it would not get damaged, I brought it to Colorado and I used it the first night because I forgot to travel wax. I wasn’t Expecting tremendous results as it was a new product and I had not tried it before but oh boy was I wrong. This product was incredible when I scraped the next morning. It was easily scraped and when I got on that prior afternoon, I was speeding down that course wow, the snow was just gliding right beneath me.

I just ordered a 180 gram block of this all purpose wax. I've always used temperature specific Swix wax formulations for my alpine skis but this year I said nah, enough of that, for a few reasons.1.) I'm not racing any more, just recreational skiing.2.) The weather here in New England has been all over the place the past 4 years.3.) Any wax job will protect your skis and give you a more consistent glide than no wax at all.I decided to simplify my waxing tool kit with this one all purpose wax for 10 deg F to 36 deg F which is the range of temps I usually ski in. I grew tired of keeping 3 or 4 wax formulations on hand and trying to predict what conditions were gonna be then waxing for each day. Too much work for not enough return.This wax should provide a good glide if not "the best" results at the extremes of its stated temperature range. It means I only have one block of wax to keep track of. And it's pretty economical at Amazon's price for 180 gram block. That size block should get me through a couple of seasons with my 2 pair of alpine skis.As for speed, I have friends who are recreational skiers who have never waxed their skis or paid to have their skis waxed in their life. I'm not worried about being able to keep up with anyone. I just want to protect my ski bottoms and get a consistent feel and glide from my skis. This wax seems like the simplest most economical way to accomplish my goals.

Ein gutes Skiwachs, einfach zu bügeln. Einen Vergleich zu anderen Wachsen kann ich nicht machen, aber man merkt den Unterschied zu vorher.

This is a pretty solid value wax. I've gone through about 1/5 of the wax bar from just waxing two boards. With free Prime shipping, I highly recommend this wax, and for the money...is a decent alternative to making the trip to your local snow sports store to buy their wax.
