Actually bought these to install on my wife's 02 Avalanche Z71 being her tailgate latch broke so I put these on each side of the upper back bed and designed it so it will close and they work great

Installed for additional lock on screen to prevent children to opening screen door to lake. The fit, size and look is very nice. Easy to install, very strong and functional. Easy to open quickly and can be used with padlock.
