I used them on two Coleman and one Igloo cooler. I installed weatherstripping on these coolers to make them airtight. These toggles allow just enough pressure to seal the lid down and compress the weatherstripping. This makes the coolers far more effective. Air leaks drastically reduce the lifespan of your ice. I suspect weatherstripping plus latches is far more effective than foaming the lids, and not addressing the air leaks.

Excellent Quality suitable for your finest projectsThis type of latch allows for some adjustment in the clamping force as necessary when you make a positioning mistake; or need to squash weatherstripping in the closed position.

I use these for my old garage fridge and freezer. Easy to keep sealed and seems to be of great quality. No rust after two years.

Small and works very well on a 150 quart cooler. Really ensures lid doesn’t pop open accidentally.
