Your cart is empty.For those performing cosmetic and dermaplaning procedures - Swann-Morton's famous #10R blade, better known as the "butter blade" now available as a disposable scalpel. The blade is permanently attached to a blue polystyrene handle, eliminating the need to attach and remove the blade from a handle. The #10R blade is ideal for contouring the nose, mouth and brows. The rounded (bull nose) tip prevents any accidental snagging or scratching thus providing a more effective and consistent finish. Dermaplaning can be performed on small areas of skin or on the entire face and can be used alone or in conjunction with other procedures such as a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or fluorescent pulsed light (FPL). Dermaplaning, when performed prior to other treatments, can remove the peach fuzz which can trap excess dirt and oil. This disposable version will perform the same as the #10R blade, only the handle comes with it! They come in boxes of 10 and there is a plastic guard over the blade of each scalpel. These are stainless steel blades and they are sterile. Each box contains 10 x Guarded Blades/Handles in Single Peel Pouches, sterilized by gamma radiation. The blades are not polymer coated

the blade was very sharp I would highly recommend reccomend use some crème or before use an taking your time I didn’t use any oil til after wiped my face before with some alcohol and still had some read sports an few cuts from the angle of using blade or maybe some over sports went over a few times definitely have to let face air out after wards be prepared to do this on a day ur not going anywhere and have some ointment maybe or not stings only if u put certain types of oil on the face afterwards.

Be very careful with these if dermaplaning. I use oil to glide. Not for inexperienced users. I love how close and smooth these make my face. Flawless makeup application after!

This is my favorite size scalpel for dermaplaning. I love that the tip is rounded, safer in my opinion. This is a scalpel so please be very careful. You WILL slice yourself open if you don’t know what you are doing. Very sharp and sturdy. I wish they were more affordable like several other size scalpels but to me, it’s worth the money.
