Yes they are cute and hope the little gal will love them. But since they are wood, they have been hard to open, maybe from the weather. I will have to get some sandpaper and try to make the connecting areas a little smoother or smaller so the little gal can open them.Updated: yes, after a touch of sandpaper on all "eggs", they open much easier and changing to 5 stars.

These dolls are made of cheap wood with a finish which is not great. This means they are hard to open and close ; even for an adult making top and bottom parts match is quite an effort. Kids under the age of 6-7 yrs old (or maybe even older) will not be able to open them, which means they won't be able to play with them. Please note: this is upon first opening, there is a good chance that they will loosen with use but will be frustrating for kids when opening for the first time.

I sent these back the very next day. Poorly made, they wouldn't even fit together. Very disappointed.

These are beautiful but nearly impossible to get apart. Waste of money because my 4 year old definitely can't use them. Don't recommend
