Love this bead mat. It holds the beads you are working with on the mat with the magnetic cover that keeps everything in place. Light weight to carry. Have a number of beader friends who have purchased this one and find it the most useful mat to date.

Love this for lap top beading. My only issue is that a magnet came out of the lid on day one so it is no longer a tight seal . I will try and talk to the merchant

I have been wanting a travel bead board for so long but many that I've found aren't in my budget. This board is great, your beads stay separated and in the slots and in place due to the tight fit of the acrylic lid with magnets and the band for extra security. I very much recommend this, even if you don't need it for travel and just need a lid to keep curious cats or kids out of your beadwork.

This is a great board. The magnetic cover is amazingly strong. I just wish it came in more colors cuz the mat is too light for my preference.

This looks nice but it's not, the plastic cover was scratched up and the wood where the beads go wasn't sanded and had dryed flaking wood Ned's a smooth surface for beads.

This item is perfect for beading! Especially seed bead projects. It has 18 compartments that are labeled in alphabets from A to R which works perfectly with bead patterns that also label in the same way. You can store all beads, needle/thread and incomplete project then close the magnetic lid. After you put the silicon straps on nothing will leak of the compartments!! It's a genius product that I really want. I'm thinking of getting more than one so that I can work on several projects at a time and neatly store them away.However, I ordered the biege one that shows the alphabets decending from the top R - A but they keep sending me the aqua one with alphabets descending from A - R. I don't mind the A-R because the board is not that large (it's the perfect size). It's almost the size of a laptop keyboard.Amazon quickly sent me a replacement but it was aqua still and they will only give me a refund now. I have to order it again and hope for the best.

I absolutely love this product! It's the best tool in my beading kit! It allows for a portable beading work area. The straps to secure the cover in place makes it Soo convenient.

After mixing up 18 different colors of beads, I decided to splurge on this...and I love it! Perfect size compartments and beading area, and I like the magnets have a backup with the silicone bands for an extra layer of security.

The best DESIGNED bead board I have used in almost 40 years of being a serious beader!I have a few easy to modify SUGGESTIONS:Use a Velux blanket fabric for the actual pad. (Beige), or your choice of a few colors. This fabric is very easy to clean. That can be brushed, taped, or vacuumed. Cat hair, lint and bead debris are easily removed and Beads are easy to manipulate with a beading needle on this type of fabric.The fabric that goes around the frame is thick and a bit of an open.weave. I would find a better alternative. Some kind of smooth thick heavy felt.The top is fabulous, easy to access, and but away quickly. Great top except for the too small magnets weak (I replaced mine, with stronger ones) They need to be larger, stronger. This concept should work very well. I also, now lay another sheet of Velux blanket on top of my bead tray, because as others have mentioned, static electricity is a problem. You MUST lay a cloth cover between the bead compartments and beads tray, or the manufacturer should make the top out of something with anti stick properties so no beads stick to the lid when a project is put away. Simple necessary solution. It works for me.m and saves time consuming energy .The compartments are perfect! But on Velux.I prefer for my alphabet to start with a at the bottom. That way if you are working with just a few colors, you keep your working area close, and not spread all over. Did I mention the size and number of compartments is perfect? It is!Add two nice cinches. Easy to put on and off. (I’m going to make mine like big hair ties).With additional strong well placed magnets, fabric changes, clever pretty cinches, and a change of fabric covering the bead area, you’d have a clever well built, well designed, perfectly sized bead mat.Note to Manufacturer: Let your product evolve. I’d be happy to help you. 😹

Very durable and easy mat to transport your beads without having them go EVERYWHERE. Heavy elastic bands and built-in magnets help to keep the clear top secure and in place, and the beads stay well in their divided areas. Great mat!
