This is a game changer for my bead embroidery. It allows me to clip it to a large project and have close access to the beads. The stickiness if pretty great, and the beads do not fall off.

I finally decided to dip my toes into beading on a cross stitch piece. I ordered this after seeing a YouTuber talk about it. I’m so glad I did! This made beading very easy. Nice and sticky so my beads stayed put. Highly recommend

I just started making jewelry and needed something to stop my beads from rolling all over the place. In my search I found this one and bought it. I love this bead mat. The beads stay put. You can lay out your design and complete it without frustration of rolling beads. So if you are in the need of a bead mat buy this one. You will love it.

Die Matte klebt sehr gut und ist größer als andere, die ich mir angesehen habe, so weit, so gut.Ich wollte die Matte eigentlich verwenden, um diese kleinen, dreieckigen Sortierschälchen mit schrägen Rand darauf zu befestigen, weil es mir mehrmals passiert ist, daß ich auf deren Rand gekommen bin, sie dadurch hochkippten und die Perlchen über den Tisch katapultiert wurden.Die Schälchen lassen sich auch sicher auf der Matte befestigen. Allerdings muß man später sehr vorsichtig sein, wenn man Schälchen mit Perlen darin wieder ablösen möchte.Für einzelne Rocailles hingegen ist diese Matte nicht so gut geeignet, schon weil sie durchsichtig ist. Durch die Lichtreflektionen, die im durchsichtigen Material und im geprägten Muster entstehen, sind die winzigen Löcher der kleinen Perlchen praktisch nicht mehr zu erkennen, jedenfalls nicht bei meinen sehr kleinen Miyuki 15/0 runden Rocailles, siehe Foto. Auch das Aufnehmen der Perlchen geht nicht so gut, weil sie sich ruckartig von der klebrigen Matte lösen.Für Rocailles ist hingegen die folgende Matte sehr gut geeignet, bei der die Aufnahme der Perlen mit der Nadel hervorragend funktioniert:https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B07YDKD1CK?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleMein Setup ist jetzt so, daß ich Haftmatte und Dreiecksschälchen überhaupt nicht mehr benutze, sondern jeweils eine kleine Menge Rocailles auf die rutschfeste Matte streue, das ist am allerpraktischsten.

This E.P.I.C. little Grey sticky mat for beads is the most awesome product to be invented, and is a game changer. Not only does it catch and hold your beads, but other parts and pieces for a variety of types of projects that you don't want things to roll or slide.The mat is correctly measured in the description, and is adequate. I needed a larger space to be catching loose beads, findings, my pen and short metal ruler, so I now have 3 side by side, making a very nice space for everything.One of the most awesome things about the beads mat is that once it gets a bit dirty you just wash it off and air-dry. When dry, badabing-badaboom it's fresh as new again.I sometimes use the tiniest drop of Original Dawn dish soap if any parts or my hands were a bit greasy. It helps cut the grease so when it's air dry it's good as new, because I had a problem with it not being quite as sticky before I thought to use the dish detergent.The instructions say to leave the clear backing on the mat, but I like to stick it straight to the plastic tray I have all my stuff on while making jewelry.

I love to bead in bed and this allows me to do just that. My only issue is how small it is and wish they would have a larger mat size for when I do large beadwork. Will hold 5 piles of colors easily. 10/10

En lo personal dudaba un poco del producto, lo compre y NO me arrepiento me ha ayudado mucho a que no salga volando todo mi material, muy práctico y eficiente. Por accidente revolví varias chaquiras y el tapete me ayudo muchísimo pues logre separarlas con calma y de manera muy cómoda con este tapete. Se volvio mi indispensable.

I am very pleased with my purchase of this BeadSmith XTL-9937 Large Sticky Bead Mat. It is just slightly bigger than an A4 8.5 x 11" U.S. Standard paper (see photos) and fits perfectly into my storage containers for beading. It has wonderful measurement guides and slightly indented channels like a bead board on one side and a dotted measuring guide on the flip side which is also sticky.Clearly this piece is not adhesive, but it will certainly keep beads from rolling off and on to the floor or your work surface. It will also keep the secure against eventual bumps when moving from one work area to another or putting things away for the day.I'm not sure how someone can say it was distorted when they tried to get it out of the packaging - the packaging was not difficult at all to remove. You'd have to forcibly rip it out of the package to damage it. I can understand, however, that if this was delivered to an extremely hot area how it might get very sticky, but being the material it is, I would wait until it cools down inside before peeling off the protective covering which is on both sides of the mat.You will definitely need something underneath to support this mat if you will be moving it from place to place with a work in progress on top of it. It is very flexible and will not remain stiff or flat during a move.I hesitated so much buying this, but I am so happy I did. I think it will make my beading life a whole lot easier for sure!

I like this product very much. It is very small, as many buyers were dismayed about (size of a large index card) but perfect for one little project at a time; two could be put together or a different larger product used for a larger project. The product does have a rather industrial smell to it, but I don’t find it overwhelming or bothersome. It is a good quality, silicone type material. It is clear, so can be placed on any color surface. It hold tiny beads and sequins and findings in place, without making them sticky, while the project is assembled. I use a beading needle to pickup very tiny beads or sequins. Larger beads are easy to string on this as well. It does pickup lint and debris, but a quick rinse with water cleans if right off. The only comment for Bead Smith is to make the logo on the mat smaller; it is distracting when working. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.

I was really excited for this bead mat, and it's pretty good. Definitely has some stick to it, holds everything in place. There was a slight smell to mine, as other reviewers mentioned, but I find it quite mild and not overwhelming at all.Unfortunately, there are patches in my bead mat (fairly small overall, but still present) where air bubbles seem to have gotten trapped in the mat substance during manufacture, and they're squisher than the rest of the mat. You can see them when the mat is held to the light. Said air bubbles mostly don't break the surface, but I suspect that with rough usage or over time, the surface over the mat may be punctured and they could cause problems.
