This is the perfect tool for a classroom callback. I use it for kindergarteners. They get quiet when they hear the chimes.

This has good sound. The chimes have straight. The mallet works just fine. I am not sure it would be great for professional use, but for homeschool and small groups and learning it's great.

You can't beat the price and it has a lovely sound. My only disappointment was that it arrived w a broken string/fastener that holds one of the chime bars....however, extra string/fasteners are included in the package, so it was am easy fix. It is a nice addition to my multi instrument practice.
