I used this for slicing perfect slices of onions. I also use this for slicing tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, potatoes, carrots, yellow squash and I'm very sure I'll find other uses for it. The quality is more than the picture shows, it's got some heaviness to it which makes it very sturdy! I like the thick plastic cover. If your looking at this onions slicer then go ahead and order it, you to will enjoy it.

The handle makes it comfortable to grip. The prongs are strong and sturdy. Works like a charm and is easy to clean. Wish I had bought one of these ages ago.

Makes slicing and dicing onions, tomatoes, and other vegetables and fruits so much easier and is safer for your fingers! It is a good size, well-made, sturdy, and top rack dishwasher safe. It even comes with a slip-on protective guard that covers the sharp prongs for storage. Very happy with it.

Best tool in the kitchen! So easy to use, just stick it in an onion, tomato, potato, chicken, etc., and dice or slice in seconds. Handle is wide and comfortable and it comes with a cover to protect the tines and your hands when reaching in the drawer.

Where has this gadget been all my life?! Perfect, no-risk onion/veggie slicing and dicing. Very sturdy and food-grade, and comes with a cover for easy drawer storage. Worth every penny.

This little gadget works so well .Normally I use my food processor to chop onions. It needs cleaning afterwards and I hesitate to use the processor because of this.This little gadget holds the onion very well and make the chopping go very quickly. It’s easy to clean too. The handle makes it very easy to hold even for a senior.I’ll be sending one to my daughter.

In theory, great idea! In practice, not so much... I found it challenging to get the prongs through a fresh onion and then challenging to pull them out of the onion. I ended up not really using the product for what I wanted because it was not easy for me to use. It might work better on a hard-boiled egg. I haven't tried that yet, but really - how hard is it to cut up an egg? Shrug.Update: 1/7/25 - seller read my review and reached out and offered me a full refund for the product, since I wasn't thrilled with it. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I'm updating my stars because even though the product wasn't as expected, the customer service more than makes up for it!

I used to own one of these years ago and it was smaller. This one is really sturdy and well made, but it's so big and the tines are so thick that it's hard to push in. Not as good with a smaller onion.
