I love all the stainless steel pieces on this unit. The discs, tube, and tips are stainless. They washed up fine with no rusting. The ratchet mechanism is strong and works well, without slipping. It's important to remember not to use parchment or grease your cookie sheet. You have to use a dry cookie sheet that the dough can stick to, otherwise the cookies won't press right.

This is such a simple concept, but so absolutely useful for anyone who likes to make sweet treats in the kitchen! I love this neat device, it's very easy to use, it's strong and feels durable and resilient. It's a great size, especially if you're using it for frosting, which is how I've been using it so far and it holds quite a lot! I love all the different attachments that it comes with, which helps create different designs and shapes, making each cupcake or cookie look unique, interesting and appetizing! This is a really cool specified tool to have, and I no longer have to use piping bags, or cut the corners off of sandwich bags to create a similar and quite sloppy effect, lol! It's priced right and worth it! it may be something you don't use all the time (unless you're an avid baker) but it's something that you'll appreciate greatly when you do use it, even if it's only occasionally. Recommended!

We ordered this cookie press and was somewhat pleased with the selection of tips and plates. It did seem like it is not made as heavy duty as a professional grade press, But I would say that it is more a "household" weight rather than a pro set. It does seem to have a bit of a problem pushing out thicker doughs and icings. But I have ran into this before with other brands. You just have to either alter the thickness of the dough, of use with the dough at a slightly warmer temperature to push out easier. Other reviewers have commented that the unit tarnished from the dishwasher. This is most likely an electrolytic reaction between the detergent salts and a different type of metal in the load. I would recommend hand washing to remedy that. While fairly nice, it is a little lightweight on the construction. All in all, we give it four stars.

This cookie press is pretty decent especially for the price and since I only use it at Christmas. It has several different "designs" that you can press out of the gun for all occasions, so I may venture out and use it more throughout the year. It's easy to put together and load the cookie dough. You need to press out a couple of samples to get the gun going but that is no big deal as you can just add it back to your dough to use later. I did use parchment paper for my first batch but it was much easier to press directly onto the cookie sheet and I had no problem with the cookies sticking on a non stick cookie sheet. The trick to it is to hold the gun straight up and down with the stencil end flat on the cookie sheet, hold the gun securely with your other hand, press the trigger and lift up the gun quickly and it will leave a perfect stencil. Bake and enjoy. Clean up was easy too. The only issue that I had was little smudges of black or plastic but I was able to see it and get it out of the cookie dough so not sure what that was from, reason for the one star deduction. Maybe I should have washed it out better before first use.

I love spritz cookies! This is a great way to make a bunch of cookie and fast. The press is stainless steel and easy to clean both ends come off. it comes with 13 cookie discs and 8 piping tips. Since the discs and the piping tips are compact the whole kit is easy to store and does not take up as much room which is great since no one ever has enough space in the kitchen. I think this is a great gift for the baker in your life or to make nice gift plates of cookies since they look extra special. You can change out the discs in the same recipe and make all the shapes it looks like you spent hours and hours when this is such a speedy way to crank out a massive amount of cookies in no time. Love this item always wanted a quality cookie press and this does not dissapoint.

The tube was crushed during delivery and it is slightly difficult to lock the plunger. Otherwise, I am just learning to make a good cookie dough that will mold well when pressing the cookies.

The barrel of the cookie press is small,, resulting in small cookies. I used the dough at room temperature and the press worked in the beginning but then the ratchet didn’t seem to be able to push out the dough.

This works really well. We used it to put cream cheese filling in jalapeño poppers and it worked really well. It comes with a lot of different plates and piping tips so you can get creative with your projects. We started off with a tip that was too small for the grated cheese in our filling, but it was easy to change to a different one and then it worked great! It was easy to fill, and it worked really well. I did notice that when I thought it was empty, there was actually a little left in it... which was just what I needed, I found I could push the plunger in by hand without using the trigger and it pushed the last little bit out. It was very easy to disassemble and clean, and it's nice that both ends of the tube come off making it really easy to get inside the tube from both ends. I found it easy to control and a lot of fun. So far, I'm really happy with it!
