Very useful tool. It does make churros like a boss, and its pretty easy once you get the hang of it, although it is much easier to make them with two people. I say that because its rather awkward to try and squeeze the trigger to squirt out the churro and keep it steady while using the other hand to cut the churro off when it gets to proper length. I have found it easiest for me to just make one big long spiral in the oil and then cut it into pieces once its out of the oil. I have also used it for two other things! My main purpose for this is to make jalepeno poppers. I fill it up with my cream cheese mixture and then use a long pointy tip so that I can pump the cream cheese down into the hollow jalepenos. It works absolutely wonderfully! The third thing I have made with this is christmas cookies. I dont know the name of the cookies, but I put sugar cookie dough in the tube and then put in the shaped disc in the end and hold it about 1/8 of an inch off the cookie sheet and squish out the cookie dough onto the cookie sheet. it makes the shapes perfectly. very useful tool!

I was super excited to get this. Brought it to try at family gathering. SUPER DISAPPOINTED! It was missing essential parts to be able to use.Mine might have been a fluke.

If you're looking for a sturdy Southern cheese straw press this is one of the easiest to use things I've found. My grandmother's metal cookie press is not even as easy to use.

I got these to make both churros and also the cookies at Christmas.I have struggled to find a decent cookie press over the years - one that is as sturdy as I recall my mom's was back in the 70s.This press is actually pretty good.I was able to make churros, sure. Recipe is included. Long even strips of the dough were perfectly dispatched from it.But then came baking day last week and that was a good test.It did a great job.It took some learning to hold it properly, due to it being bigger than I am used to. But once I did get my grip position and hold in place, it was easy to get things moving.I was able to get dozens of little cookies pushed out and onto the cookie sheet. I use parchment (of course) and I was able to get a good angle to press them right down onto it.I didn't get any hesitancy from the machine when the thicker dough was put in it.I also loved the various cookie press options, which was further evidence this is intended to also be a cookie press and tested as such.Clean up was fairly simple and standard, and storage is easy.It feels pretty sturdy and didn't really give any indication it was made with cheap materials. Everything fit together tight and nothing shifted out of place during use.It just did what it was supposed to do, for hours.

I had never made churros before but this kit made it easy. It comes with an E-booklet for recipes and just followed the easy directions. The press barrel has a squeeze handle which I found easier to control than the usual stick that gets pushed into the tube. It comes with 4 discs for the churros and 6 icing nozzles for filling the churros or for decorating a cake or cookies. They also included 6 discs for making sugar cookies. It really is all inclusive. My only issue is that the seller wants access to my phone to get the booklet by opening their QR code (which can launch malware) then I must email the booklet to the computer then download it as a saved file so I can print it out to use in the kitchen. It's a good set but I don't like e-booklet access.

My kids love getting churros whenever they get a chance, but that is not often, and I feel that they are usually overpriced. With this device we can make churros at home, any time that we want. It is easy to use and clean, and I have a piece of mind knowing what is in the churros that we make. Really neat that it has attachments for making various cookies as well, going to have to try that going into the holiday season.
