Our leather case is made of polyurethane synthetic leather (PU leather). The material is soft and shiny but it is also breathable and odor-free. It will not stiffen, harden, nor become brittle over time. Rugged and Long-lasting, it will provide a long service life.
Tool maintenance:
After use, clean tools with water and dry them in a cool place to prevent rust.
Leather case maintenance:
1. Clean using soap and water. Avoid the use of organic solvents including alcohol and gasoline. Dry using a towel.
2. The case cannot be cleaned using chemicals nor dry cleaned. Use only water (plus mild soap or detergent). The water temperature should not exceed 40°C (104° F).
3. Do not expose it to direct sunlight after washing; place it in a cool location for drying.

I am a nursing student and this little kit was nice to use for practicing sutures. I also love that it comes in a handy carrying case for the tools, so I can keep it in my backpack if I transport it back and forth from classes to home or anywhere else.It is definitely a small kit and it doesn’t not have any practice skin, so you will need to get another kit that includes that or get it extra.But otherwise it is a nice cheap small kit that I am definitely getting lots of use out of!

I picked this up because I wanted to have a little kit for home use—I’m a doctor—and the first time I tried to remove sutures using the scissors, a splinter of metal went into the skin in the wound. I’ve never had professional quality scissors do that. Luckily I was able to get the splinter back out, but I can’t recommend this kit.

Keep at my remote hunting location for emergencies. The quality is good and tools useful. Useful to practice how to suture for vets or just an emergency. You must know how to throw a stitch so practice with this kit.
